It is high time that the MV was permanently withdrawn from service for safety reasons. The vessel is structurally unsound by also does not have many of the safety features which modern passenger vessel have. Two examples are that the vessel does not have double bottoms and watertight bulkhead. The vessel is a big disaster waiting to happen where hundreds of people could die. Short of withdrawing the vessel, she must be rehabilitated to meet the very serious safety shortfall that she has.
