An update from Nyala Lodge
Nyala lodge, owned by Malawi’s Jambo Africa and situated only 75km from bustling Blantyre, has recently seen a number of key improvements, including a brand new Conference Centre and two double story self catering units. This extension adds on to an already extensive list of services Nyala Lodge has to offer, including en-suit chalets, a campsite, bar, restaurant and pool. All this makes Nyala Lodge an even more idyllic location, especially thanks to the unspoilt location deep within Lengwe National Park. The beautiful Nyala Antelope is indigenous to this reserve, and regularly comes to visit the lodge, along with over 300 bird species, buffalo, duiker and warthog. All this allows you to be fully immersed into the wonderful wildlife Malawi has to offer.
Jambo Africa acquired new property
Jambo Africa have added another property to their collection, which already includes the impressive Nyala lodge and Conforzi Lake House. The new lakeshore property boasts a swimming pool and enough room within it to sleep 8. Situated a few kilometres north of Palm Beach, Sungeni Cottage is currently undergoing minor renovations to match up to Jambo Africa’s exacting standards.
Work begins on Lengwe’s roads
Thanks to the World Bank project a number of roads to leading to Lengwe National Park have been successfully renovated. Lengwe has long been regarded a highlight Malawi, with it’s breath-taking wildlife and landscape it continues to delight visitors year on year. However, a number of roads running to the park have faced years of neglect making access to the park difficult. Thanks to the World Bank project, renovations on these overlooked roads has been successfully completed, making access to the reserve much easier.
