LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-A woman has dragged Malawi’s youthful Inkosi ya Makosi Gomani V to court saying the traditional leader impregnated her.
The woman Ovixlexla Bunya has sued Gomani born Willard Gomani for denying responsibility for the pregnancy.
According to summons issued by the Lilongwe District Registry on January 22, Mswati Gomani has been advised to file defence or satisfy the claim made by Bunya within 28 days of receiving the summons.
Bunya has been seeing the paramount chief for some time and until earlier this month she had been sharing pictures of the two on her Facebook account.
According to reports, the paramount chief moved in with Bunya for several months last year but the royal family did not approve of the relationship and advised Gomani to stop seeing Bunya.

However, Bunya later told the chief that she is pregnant with his baby.
In 2017, Bunya also dragged Prophet David Mbewe to court saying he raped and impregnated her. The case is still in court.
In a post on Facebook, Bunya confirmed taking Gomani to court but dismissed claims that she is suing the chief in order to blackmail him.
Bunya added that she is only seeking justice for the wrongs that have been done to her after trying to engage in dialogue and peaceful discussions with the chief and Prophet Mbewe in the 2017 case.

“Aggrieved persons seek court intervention where the other party refuses to discuss and resolve issues and I have every right to just as every human being. We were born equal, no one is above the law and in the eyes of God we are the same no one is less a human being.
“I have never approached these two men or any other for relationship whatsoever; they came to me with their own will. I am not deranged, crazy or desperate in any way. I am simply human being seeking justice. Is it wrong to seek justice for violation and abuse of human rights? Is there a limit to the many times a person is wronged, or is there a limit to how many persons one can drag to court in their lifetime? I am not seeking any sympathy but telling things as they are. I am tired, every human has a breaking point,” she said.
