Mzuni FC stamps its authority in TNM super league after beating EPAC FC 1-0

LILONGWE, CIVO STADIUM(MaraviPost)—Mzuzu University Football Club, the one and only University team in Malawi playing in Malawi’s top flight league, TNM Super League— has proved why it deserves to play in the super League of Malawi today after beating EPAC FC 1—0 at CIVO Stadium in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe.

Mzuni FC started its TNM Super League Campaign badly last weekend losing to fellow rookies Dedza Young Soccer, 3—0 before conceding a last minute defeat in the hands of the Lilongwe based soldiers, Kamuzu Barracks FC.

But this week, the Evergreen Intelligentia’s have registered their first ever victory in the super League hundreds of Kilometers away from their base in Luwinga.

The Luwinga based intellectuals will take on Silver Strikers tomorrow at Silver Stadium and the game, billed to be the game of the day in Malawi will be covered live by Malawi’s popular and respectable private owned radio station, Zodiak Broadcasting Station where the radio’s sports commentator Mike Bango, Mzuni FC’s now turned friend will give his first ever commentary after he gave the students team a good run for their qualification into the super league.

Mzuni FC winning team today featured Kilipota Thole, Edwin Msuku, Majeed Msowoya, Joshua Tembo, Peter Chavula, Victor Gondwe, Brave Phiri, Pilirani Ndhluli, Thom Banda, Davie
Moyo, Niyikiza Aimable.

Meanwhile, the teams win in Lilongwe has spiced up the massive social weekend currently underway on Campus as a loss would have spoiled the students fan on campus.
