Sara Foster Laughs Off Spanx Mishap at 2026 Critics Choice Awards

Sara Foster narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.

Foster, 44, who is the cocreator of Nobody Wants This, opened up to E! about the fashion faux pas she nearly experienced at the awards show. While stepping onto the red carpet, which took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, January 4, Foster revealed that a photographer pointed out that her Spanx were showing through the thigh-high slit on her Monique Lhuillier dress.

“Gotta love him!” she exclaimed to E!’s red carpet host Keltie Knight. Foster’s white dress featured a mock neck, long sleeves and a fitted bodice that cascaded into a cinched waist with gold hardware and a long, flowy skirt that revealed her leg. Foster made her look even more glamorous with gold strappy heels, delicate rings and diamond earrings.

For glam, she donned a full beat including bronzed skin, contoured cheeks, filled-in eyebrows, smokey eyeshadow, long lashes and pink, glossy lips. Her blonde highlighted hair was pulled back into a half-up hairdo with her ends curled.

While chatting with E!, Foster also shared that she almost wore the dress to the 2025 Golden Globe Awards last January. “I was like, ‘I want to bring that back,’” she said. She noted that fans can even pick up their own Monique Lhuillier dress — which her team pointed out before she wore it. “They’re like, ‘It’s online, people can buy it.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t care.’”

While getting her photo taken, Sara made sure to snap a few pics with her sister and Nobody Wants This cocreator Erin Foster, who looked chic in a brown ensemble featuring a black beaded top complete with halter straps and a bodycon silk skirt.

Erin, 43, added a touch of sparkle to her look with diamond angling earrings, which she matched with silver sparkly eyeshadow tapped onto her lids. The rest of her makeup included dewy skin, contoured cheeks, long lashes, filled-in eyebrows and pink lips. Her blonde hair was parted down the middle and styled in an updo with her front pieces left out and curled. The duo wrapped their arms around each other while posing for a photo.

This year, Nobody Wants This was nominated for Best Comedy Series. Adam Brody, who plays Noah, is also up for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and Kristen Bell (Joanne) is nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Sara isn’t the only star who opened up about wanting to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. Sheryl Lee Ralph shared how she ensures that her feet won’t be in pain while wearing heels all night long.

2025 Critics’ Choice Red Carpet Fashion: From Demi More to Angelina Jolie

“When you’re coming down the red carpet, it’s not time for little hiccups and your shoes, sometimes they don’t fit properly,” the Abbott Elementary star shared with E! “First of all, I live by lidocaine, if the shoe even has the possibility of being uncomfortable. And then I spray the shoe with spray adhesive, get my foot in and there is no flip-floppage.”

‘Landman’ Cast: Who the Paramount Stars Have Dated in Real Life

The Landman cast has had more success in their dating lives than their fictional counterparts.

Paramount+’s hit series is inspired by the “Boomtown” podcast series. Landman, which premiered in 2024, is focused on the West Texas oil industry with a specific focus on crisis executive Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) and his family. The first two seasons follow Tommy as the corporate fixer working for an oil titan (Jon Hamm) before his boss’ shocking death.

In addition to the professional drama, the characters at the center of Taylor Sheridan‘s series found themselves entangled in romantic highs and lows. Off screen, meanwhile, the cast has found love as well.

Why ‘Committed’ Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon ‘Aren’t Interested’ in Marriage

Three years into their low-key relationship, Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, are “still going strong and are very committed” to each other, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“Ines has no interest in being in the spotlight, and that is what Brad admired about her when they met,” the insider shares.

A second source concurs that the couple have been “keeping a low profile on purpose” and “try to be as normal as possible” during their time off from work.

Since they were first linked in late 2022, Pitt, 61, and de Ramon, 32, have taken several big steps — including countless international vacations, their red carpet debut and moving in together last year — but both sources say an engagement is not in the cards.

Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon’s Complete Relationship Timeline

“They aren’t interested in getting married and are on the same page about that,” the first insider tells Us, with the second explaining, “[There are] no wedding plans at the moment. They are super happy in this phase of their relationship and not rushing into anything.”

After all, both Pitt and de Ramon have walked down the aisle before. The two-time Oscar winner was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005 and Angelina Jolie (with whom he shares six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17) from 2014 to 2019, while the jewelry designer was married to The Vampire Diaries alum Paul Wesley from 2019 to 2024.

The first source notes that Pitt has “done a lot of work on himself” since his bitter divorce from Jolie, 50, thanks in part to de Ramon.

“He has been in a great headspace this last year and is much more at peace,” the insider tells Us. “Work has been very fulfilling for him, and he has had an amazing year. Ines has brought him a lot of healing. They are a good duo, and Ines moving in and settling into the house has only strengthened that dynamic.”

A Complete Timeline of Brad Pitt’s Star-Studded Dating History

Although Pitt is still tangled up in a complex legal battle with Jolie over their Château Miraval winery in the south of France, the first source says he “knows how to navigate and process things now instead of letting it mentally exhaust him like before.”

The second insider agrees, “Brad is the calmest and healthiest he’s been in years. Ines is a great influence on him.”

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Pitt and de Ramon for comment.

This isn’t the first time that sources have told Us about de Ramon’s positive impact on Pitt when it comes to his high-profile drama with Jolie. In May 2024, an insider shared, “Ines [wants] Brad to find peace, forgive and move on. From her perspective, it doesn’t make sense for him to hold on to all the animosity.”

While Brangelina have been legally single since April 2019, they did not finalize their divorce until December 2024. Jolie’s rep told Us at the time that the Maleficent star was “relieved” to have finally settled the case, while Pitt said it was not “that major of a thing” in a GQ interview earlier this year.

Aaron Paul Reveals He and Wife Moved to France After Deadly L.A. Wildfires

Aaron Paul has joined the many actors who have decided to leave Los Angeles behind.

“When the fires happened in L.A., we just knew that we were done with L.A., so we sold our house in L.A. and moved to Paris,” the Breaking Bad actor, 46, told the Daily Mail while attending The Only at 1850 by American Express party during the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Friday, November 21.

“Paris is awesome,” Paul told the outlet, adding that he moved there with his wife, Lauren Paul, and their two young children.

“We went out there for the kiddos,” he added, before exclaiming that he and his wife “always dreamed of doing a year abroad.”

“We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,” he said.

Lone Stars: Glen Powell, Christine Quinn and Other Celebs in Texas

In January, multiple wildfires broke out in and around the Los Angeles area, destroying over 18,000 structures, burning more than 57,5000 acres and killing upwards of 440 people, including indirect deaths from smoke exposure. The wildfires are believed to have cost anywhere from $28 billion to $53.8 billion.

In July, People reported that Paul put his Los Feliz home on the market, listing the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home for $10 million. The home — designed by famed architect Stiles O. Clements and previously owned by Robert Pattinson, Tim Curry, Noah Wyle, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jim Parsons — sits on 1.5 acres and combines “preserved period detail with refined inferior updates,” according to the listing.

“Aberdeen has been a safe haven for my family and we feel so lucky to have experienced so much life here over the years,” Paul said of his former home in a statement to People at the time. “We will forever hold this home and its history close to our hearts.”

Paul is just the latest Hollywood A-lister to leave the U.S. for a life across the pond. Both Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell have decided to relocate to Europe in the wake of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential victory.

“I’m happy. Clay is happy. I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home, and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country,” O’Donnell said in a TikTok video detailing her move to Ireland and the reason behind it. “And when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”

DeGeneres, for her part, also admitted that politics played a role in her decision to move to the U.K. with her wife, Portia de Rossi.

Angelina Jolie ‘Is Ready for Her Next Chapter’ — Away From Hollywood

“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in,’” she said while speaking to English broadcaster Richard Bacon back in July. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’”

In April, O’Donnell opened up to Us about her surprise over DeGeneres’ reason for relocating overseas.

“I’ve never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “I’ve been a political person my whole life, no better or worse, it’s just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don’t think it came as a surprise to anyone. We’re not really in each other’s worlds, and it’s been kind of awkward but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.”

From adopting two Malawian children to building community schools in the country, the epic singer has undoubtedly gained global recognition for providing thousands of children in Africa with an opportunity to access quality and affordable education. Her cause to end extreme poverty in the continent is also visible after co-founding “Raising Malawi”, a non-profit organization that supports other community-based organizations to provide nutritious food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care to vulnerable children and their families.

This, among other charity organizations she has founded, is evident of her love for Africa and especially its children. It is reported that after her recent visit to Kenya, Madonna will be partnering with the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, in a bid to improve maternal health, girls’ education and fight violence against women.

One of our own, a child of Africa from Kenya, Lupita Nyong’o makes it to the list with her valiant efforts to curb ivory poaching. The Oscar-winning actress is the global elephant ambassador for international conservation organization WildAid, a platform she uses to advocate against the merciless killing of elephants for their treasured ivory. As a major tourist destination, Africa has suffered a big blow from illegal poaching and trade of endangered animals especially the elephants. Her efforts are in a bid to end this crisis in continent, whose result would be an increase of tourists to the wildlife destinations such as the Amboseli National park.
The ripple effect is likely to increase tenfold tourism revenue in African countries and thus contribute to the economic growth of the entire continent.
