Kandi Burruss Claims Todd Tucker Doesn’t Spend Time With Kids Amid Divorce

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss called out her estranged husband, Todd Tucker, for allegedly not seeing their kids a ton since their divorce, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Thursday, January 8, Burruss, 49, filed court docs demanding a hearing be set to determine parenting time and child support as part of her divorce from Tucker, 52.

Burruss filed for divorce on November 21, 2025. The exes share two children: Ace, born in 2016, and Blaze, born in 2019.

Burruss said the kids have “significant monthly expenses” that include a nanny, tuition, extracurricular activities, birthday parties, medical bills, travel and daily needs. Burruss accused Tucker of failing to contribute to the maintenance and support of the kids’ needs, leaving it solely on her.

She claimed Tucker has failed to provide support for the kids, yet has traveled out of the country on multiple occasions for vacations.

Burruss said Tucker is a self-employed entrepreneur who can provide support for the kids. She said he does not pay the mortgage or expenses for their marital home.

In her filing, Burruss said, “Tucker does not exercise parenting time with the minor children on a significant basis despite the façade of his two-to-three-minute social media videos chronicling his ‘Daddy Daycare’ on his social media platforms.”

Burruss claimed Tucker intentionally interfered with her custody time. Her lawyer noted, “Specifically, during the recent Christmas holiday break, [Tucker] attempted to prohibit the children from traveling to New York to visit [Burruss] even though she had previously incurred costs of travel for the children and provided [Tucker] with significant notice of her intent to exercise parenting time during the children’s designated Holiday Break.”

Burruss asked the court to set a custody schedule. When contacted for comment on Burrus’ motion, Tucker’s lawyer, Randall Kessler, told Us, “Rather than commenting to the press, we leave these matters to the court and what is in our properly filed documents.”

A couple of days before, on January 5, Tucker fought Burruss’ request for a confidentiality order. He claimed she had talked about the divorce “with various media outlets.” Tucker said he was the one who had refrained from talking about the split.

“[Burruss] has engaged in a public press tour, including making statements directly and through her agents to multiple media outlets, and has continued to publicize the existence and substance of this litigation on social media and in the press,” Tucker’s motion read. “Having voluntarily placed the proceedings into the public domain, [Burruss] cannot now credibly claim that sealing the case is necessary to protect the integrity of the proceedings or the best interests of the minor children.”

Tucker’s lawyer added, “Rather, the requested relief appears aimed at selectively restricting public access in order to control the narrative of a dispute that [Burruss] herself has chosen to make public.”

A judge has yet to rule on the requests.

As Us first reported, Burruss filed for divorce on November 21 and initially asked for joint custody, but later changed her request to primary custody after Tucker asked for sole custody in his response filing.

Tucker filed court docs on November 26 where he demanded primary custody of the two children. His lawyer noted, “[Tucker] wishes to make clear that he recognizes [Burruss] as a loving and capable parent and remains sincerely hopeful that prior and continued discussions between the parties will bring full resolution of all matters,” Tucker’s attorney noted in court docs.

His filing claimed the kids were in his care due to Burruss’ work obligations, which he said would “continue to require her to be away from the children for at least the next several months.”

As Us first reported, Tucker also opposed the prenuptial agreement being enforced, claiming his lawyer was not present. Burruss scoffed at the claims, pointing out he signed the deal on camera for their Bravo special on their wedding.

Dax Shepard Breaks Silence on Cher’s Comments About Kristen Bell Marriage

Dax Shepard expected nothing less from Cher when the pop star made now-viral comments about his marriage to Kristen Bell on his podcast.

“I think we both expected that,” Shepard, 51, said of himself and Bell, 45, in an interview with Access Hollywood during the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11. “That’s why you love Cher, which couldn’t be greater.”

Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast cohost, Monica Padman, added, “There was a couple big headlines, but people need to go listen to the whole thing, ‘cause everything she says is perfect.”

Shepard also said he and Bell “thought it was hysterical.”

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Are United at Golden Globes After Cher Drama

Shepard made similar comments in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, explaining that he and Padman, 38, posted a clip of Cher’s comments because they “thought it was hilarious.”

“It was so good. We kept it in because it was great,” he said before joking that Bell served him “divorce papers” after hearing the podcast. Shepard then pointed out how things can become misinterpreted online, adding, “The internet is a dangerous place.”

Cher, 79, went viral after her appearance on the January 5 episode of “Armchair Expert,” as she offered blunt commentary on Shepard’s marriage to Bell, her longtime friend and former Burlesque costar.

“[You’re] definitely the better half [in the relationship],” Cher told Bell, who also appeared on the episode.

“Who would be your dream partner for her? Because I know you think she could be better, and I don’t disagree,” Shepard then asked Cher.

While Cher didn’t have a name to offer in response, she did call Shepard a “good dad,” with Bell agreeing that he is the “best dad there ever was.”

“The truth is, I trust her. So you must have something that I don’t see,” Cher added.

Shepard attempted to defend himself, pointing out “the thing that you should like about me.”

“I’m not threatened by her shining. Love it. The shinier she gets, the better,” he said.

Bell chimed in, “There’s a lot to this man.”

Shepard made it clear at the end of the conversation that he had no hard feelings about Cher’s comments.

“I adore you, and I understand nobody’s good enough for [Bell],” he said.

Dax Shepard Fixes Kristen Bell’s Hair During Rare Joint Red Carpet Outing

Shepard and Bell tied the knot in 2013 after six years of marriage. The couple later welcomed daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11.

One day after sharing his reaction to Cher’s comments, Shepard opened up about sometimes feeling insecure when people compare his appearance to Bell’s.

“I’ve been with Kristen for 20 years, and there have been hundreds of articles about, ‘Why is she with this guy?’ Lists of top 10 hot girls with ugly guys,” he said during the Monday, January 12, episode of his podcast. “I’ve been dealing with that less now since the podcast, but for the first 12, 13 years we were together, there were hundreds of these lists of ugly guys with hot girls, and I’m always on it.”

Shepard said he’s typically “so hurt and insecure” when he first hears or sees those comments, but then he gets “defensive and arrogant.”

“I’m like, ‘Go meet my other girlfriends. They’ve all been hot. F*** you,’ right? I have this defensiveness,” he continued. “And then when I calm down, I really get into it. I’m like, you know, it’s so interesting. I think I know what’s going on. And it’s just [beaten] into us in elementary school and in school, which is like, there’s strata. You’re born into them. Someone shan’t migrate north or south. It’s disruptive to this whole system that we have been formatted in.”

Shepard explained that he sees negative comments on his appearance from men more often than women.

“Guys are saying, ‘Kristen’s with this ugly guy.’ They’re threatened,” he added. “And I think, shouldn’t that be encouraging? Even if that’s your conclusion, like this four got this 10, isn’t that life-affirming and positive? Like, doesn’t that say you could achieve anything? I thought it would be comforting to dudes like me that are normal-looking. I think it’s the opposite.”

Hilary Duff’s Ex-Costar Francia Raisa Weighs In on Ashley Tisdale Group Drama

Hilary Duff’s former How I Met Your Father costar Francia Raisa has entered the chat.

Raisa, 37, shared a humorous video via TikTok and Instagram on Thursday, January 8, weighing in on the mom group drama fueled by a recent essay that Ashley Tisdale French wrote for The Cut.

In the video, Raisa can be seen sitting in a car scrolling through her phone as she lip-synchs to a line by Amanda Bynes’ character Viola Hastings from the movie She’s the Man.

“Speaking as a completely objective third-party outsider with absolutely no personal interest in the matter, I am not sure that you and Olivia really mesh well together,” the actress mouthed along to an audio clip of Bynes’ dialogue from the movie. (In the scene, Bynes’ character tries to convince Channing Tatum’s hunky soccer player character, Duke Orsino, not to pursue her love rival, Olivia Lennox, played by Laura Ramsey.)

‘How I Met Your Father’ Cast: Who the Stars Have Dated in Real Life

Raisa captioned the video, “Not a mom but… #fyp #thecut.”

Raisa and Duff, 38, played best friends in Hulu’s brief How I Met Your Mother spinoff, which aired for two seasons from 2021 to 2023 before being canceled.

Duff and other stars, including Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor, have found themselves the subjects of much social media speculation over the last week after High School Musical star Tisdale French, 40, “exposed” a group of toxic mom friends. Tisdale French did not single out anyone by name, but she has in the past documented playdates with Duff and company, all of whom have young children like her. (Tisdale French has two daughters with husband Christopher French.)

In the piece, Tisdale French described the increasingly hostile dynamic between her and her other mom friends, prompting her to part ways with the group.

“I remember being left out of a couple of group hangs, and I knew about them because Instagram made sure it fed me every single photo and Instagram Story,” she wrote in a January 1 essay for The Cut. “I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me. … I told myself it was all in my head, and it wasn’t a big deal. And yet, I could sense a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who seemed to not even care that I wasn’t around much.”

The actress said she left the group after texting the other women that it felt “too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

On Monday, January 5, Tisdale French’s representative denied to TMZ that the article was related to Duff, Moore and Trainor.

Earlier on Thursday, Trainor, 32, weighed in on the drama with a pointed TikTok video of her own.

Celebrity BFFs Who Ended Their Friendships: Lauren Conrad and Heidi, More

“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” the singer wrote over a video of her sitting at a desk and typing on a computer. Fittingly, the video was set to the tune of her song “Still Don’t Care.”

Trainor’s husband, Daryl Sabara, meanwhile, told TMZ on Thursday, “No drama over here, just trying to keep the kids happy.”

The Spy Kids actor, who shares sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, with Trainor continued, “I don’t really know what’s going on.”

“I hope she’s OK, though,” he added, referring to Tisdale French.

Meghan Trainor’s Husband Addresses Ashley Tisdale’s Mom Group Drama

Meghan Trainor‘s husband, Daryl Sabara, addressed the drama surrounding Ashley Tisdale French‘s mom group.

Approached by TMZ on Thursday, January 8, Sabara brushed off suggestions there was any bad blood on his side after Tisdale French wrote a viral article for The Cut criticizing her former friendship group with other moms.

“No drama over here, just trying to keep the kids happy,” Sabara, 33, told the outlet after being asked what he thought about the controversy. (Sabara and Trainer share two sons: Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.)

While Sabara brushed off questions about the drama, the Spy Kids star expressed his hope that Tisdale French’s well-being was not impacted.

“I don’t really know what’s going on,” he added. “I hope she’s OK, though.”

What Really Happened Between Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore

Earlier on Thursday, Trainor, 32, broke her silence on Tisdale French’s essay by posting a clip via TikTok.

“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” Trainor wrote over the video, which showed her sitting at a desk and typing on a computer while her song “Still Don’t Care” played. She captioned the post with three tea emojis.

Tisdale French caused a stir when she exposed the dynamics of her mom group in a personal essay written for The Cut. In the piece, she called out the group as “toxic” and revealed she had ultimately quit it after feeling ostracized.

She did not mention any of the other moms involved by name, but Tisdale French frequently documented playdates with Trainor, Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff, each of whom have young children.

“I remember being left out of a couple of group hangs, and I knew about them because Instagram made sure it fed me every single photo and Instagram Story,” Tisdale French wrote. “I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me. … I told myself it was all in my head, and it wasn’t a big deal. And yet, I could sense a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who seemed to not even care that I wasn’t around much.”

Tisdale French described parting ways with the other mom by texting the group that it felt “too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

After fans pointed the finger at the famous mom group as being the one Tisdale French was referencing in the essay, her representative denied the speculation in a statement to TMZ on Monday, January 5.

Matthew Koma and More Stars React to Ashley Tisdale’s Mom Group Drama

The rep said that Tisdale French’s “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group” article was written to spotlight a relatable issue for women who have been shut out of a friend group and was not specifically about Trainor, Moore, Duff and the others.

Sabara’s comments come after Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, took a swipe at Tisdale French after the article’s publication earlier this week.

Posting via his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 6, Koma, 38, shared his own fictional version of The Cut article.

“A mom group tell-all through a father’s eyes,” Koma’s article read. “When you’re the most self obsessed tone deaf person on earth, other moms tend to shift focus to their actual toddlers.”

Dax Shepard Offers to Pay for Daughter Delta, 11, to Freeze Her Eggs

Dax Shepard shared a wild promise with his 11-year-old daughter, Delta.

“Delta was saying how she can’t wait to have a baby,” Shepard, 51, said during the Monday, January 5, episode of his “Armchair Expert” podcast. “I said, ‘When do you think you’ll have your first child, when you turn 18?’ I want to be supportive of whatever.”

When his daughter responded with “no,” Shepard guessed that Delta would have her first child between 35 and 45 years old.

“I said, ‘If you want to, we’ll freeze your eggs when you’re 18.’ I’ll pay for you to get your eggs frozen so you don’t have to think about that,” the actor continued. Shepard’s podcast cohost Monica Padman praised his “lovely” gesture.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell’s Most Honest Parenting Quotes

According to Shepard, his daughter is “thinking mid-20s” is the perfect age to start having kids, but both he and Padman thought that Delta would be “underestimating” how much fun she’s having at that age.

“It won’t be time for her to be in the house every night with a child,” Shepard said.

Shepard shares Delta and daughter Lincoln, 12, with wife Kristen Bell.

Both Shepard and Bell, 45, have been candid about their parenting styles in several interviews over the years. Shepard’s podcast has also offered him a platform to discuss fatherhood.

Shepard previously discussed his daughters’ future dating lives during a 2023 episode of his podcast.

The actor confessed that he’s “not going to love seeing some 25-year-old dude in boxers in my kitchen” if the girls have adult “sleepovers” with their significant others as they get older. While he is “very pro-sex” and wants his daughters to be “very happy and adventurous” when it comes to love, he doesn’t want any of it happening under his own roof.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s Most Polarizing Comments Over the Years

One thing that is OK in Shepard and Bell’s home is cursing, however.

“I fully swear in front of my kids,” the actor said during a July 2025 episode of his podcast. “They are allowed to swear, not with impunity, but when it’s called for, and they land it, and it’s in the house and not out at a restaurant, it’s OK.”

He added, “My defense of it is, I just told the girls, like, ‘Hey, these are noises that come out of your mouth, and you assign what they mean to you.’”

Shepard explained that he thinks of this way, there’s “no way” that he’s introducing the girls to cursing.

Bell previously discussed this same subject during a 2020 appearance on Good Morning America. The Frozen star recalled Lincoln saying: “You never told me f*** was a bad word,” when coming home from school one day.

“Dax has, yet again, the best response,” she recalled. “He said, ‘Listen, you’re a kid. There are a lot of things you can’t do until you’re an adult. One of them is drive my car. One of them is drink alcohol. Vote. And say swear words.’ It’s as simple as that.”

Bruno Mars in Talks to Perform at Grammys Ahead of 1st Album in 10 Years

UPDATE — 1/7/26, 9:45 a.m. ET: After Bruno Mars announced that he has completed his new album, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that the singer is in talks to perform its lead single at the 2026 Grammys on February 1, where he is nominated for three awards.

The highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s 24K Magic is titled The Romantic and will be released on February 27.

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Mars and the Grammys for comment.

Original story:

Bruno Mars has finally confirmed that new music is coming — and his fans used the moment to joke about his alleged gambling debts.

“My album is done,” the Grammy winner, 40, tweeted on Monday, January 5, without offering further details about a title or potential release date.

The news was met with excitement by his fans, who have been waiting for a new solo album from Mars for nearly 10 years, as his last solo project, 24K Magic, dropped in November 2016.

“THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER,” one happy listener wrote via X, while Rolling Stone’s official account tweeted simply, “Need it.”

Bruno Mars Jokingly Asks Fans to ‘Keep Streaming’ to Pay Off Gambling Debt

Other fans, however, took the opportunity to joke that Mars only went back to the studio to pay off the gambling debts that have allegedly followed him for the past few years.

“Bout to be debt free 🔥🔥🔥,” one X user quipped as another joked, “Vegas will be happy to hear 🤣.” A third person added, “Congratulations to the Bellagio for coming that much closer to being paid back their debt!”

Rumors about Mars’ gambling debts began circulating in 2024 when a report claimed that he owed $50 million to MGM, the company that owns the resort where he does his Las Vegas residencies. According to the report, Mars kept renewing his residencies with MGM in order to work off the debt.

MGM Grand, however, vehemently denied the report, with a spokesperson saying, “MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”

Bruno Mars Jokes He’s ‘Almost Out of Debt’ After Blackpink Show Surprise

Mars, for his part, kept leaning into the joke, referencing it in interviews and on stage.

“I love the lore that I am a Las Vegas lounge singer in debt to the mob,” he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in June 2024. “I can work with that.”

Later that year, he joked about it during a concert in September 2024. “Ever since those articles came out about me owing the casino money you stopped picking up my calls,” he quipped while speaking into a prop phone. “It’s me, baby — I got money.”

In January 2025, when he became the first artist in Spotify history to reach 150 million monthly listeners, he used the milestone as yet another opportunity to to joke about his finances, writing via Instagram, “KEEP STREAMING! I’ll be out of debt in no time.”

MGM Reacts to Claim That Bruno Mars Owes $50 Million in Gambling Debts

While Mars hasn’t released a solo album in nearly a decade, he’s stayed busy collaborating with other artists. In 2021, he released a collaborative album with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic, which they supported with a residency at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas.

He’s since had numerous hits with other artists, including “APT.” with Rosé and “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga in 2024 and “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexxy Red in 2025.

His latest Vegas solo residency, meanwhile, continued through New Year’s Eve and grossed more than $124 million over nine years.

Ethan Hawke’s Kids Tease Him That Sister Maya Hawke Is More Famous Than Him

Ethan Hawke’s teenage daughters are keeping him humble.

Ethan revealed during a Monday, January 5, appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that his eldest child, Stranger Things star Maya Hawke, 27, is better recognized among peers of his youngest children, Clementine, 17, and Indiana, 14.

The Oscar nominee admitted that Maya’s role in one of the biggest shows in the world has “upstaged” his own career in some ways. This was no more evident than when his youngest kids visited the set of his recent comedy-drama, The Lowdown.

“We shot it down in Tulsa, my wife [Ryan Shawhughes] was a producer on the show, we brought the whole family down,” he explained. “The kids went to public school there in Tulsa. The kids came to visit me on set and the director says, ‘Is it hard having a famous dad when you’re at a new school?’”

Maya Hawke Supports Dad Ethan as He Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Ethan continued, “They were like, ‘It’s hard having a famous sister. Nobody cares about my dad. … My sister’s picture is in the lockers everywhere.’”

Like millions of other people around the world, the Blue Moon actor, 55, stayed up into the early hours of Thursday, January 1, to catch his daughter and her costars in the series finale of Stranger Things.

“A lot of people in America were watching Stranger Things, but not everybody was watching their daughter [in Stranger Things] with their siblings to the side. We were invested,” Ethan said.

The proud dad continued to gush over Maya’s role as Robin Buckley, adding, “I have to say, hats off. I thought Maya did a great job. I thought the whole show did a great job.”

Ethan shares Maya and son Levon, 23, with his ex-wife, Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman. Both Maya and Levon have followed in their parents’ footsteps in Hollywood. (Ethan shares Clementine and Indiana with Shawhughes, whom he wed in 2008.)

Ethan recently opened up about feeling remorse about aspects of Maya’s childhood.

“There were a lot of things about her childhood that were really, really hard and complicated, and things I regret for her,” Ethan told Sydney Sweeney of his eldest daughter in a December 2025 conversation for Variety & CNN’s “Actors on Actors.”

While the actor didn’t go into detail about Maya’s struggles, he said that he knew she was going to “be an artist” when she was “about 4.”

Ethan Hawke Opens Up About ‘Humiliating’ Split From Ex-Wife Uma Thurman

“I knew that she was gonna be a very good one,” he said. “That was her safe place — watercoloring, dancing, singing all throughout her childhood.”

“Anything that had to do with human communication was something she vibrated to,” he recalled. “I remember some teacher said, ‘Maya, are you happy?’ [because] they were worried about her. And she said something to the effect of, ‘Do you really think that’s the question?’”

Ethan continued, “I thought, ‘I love this kid.’ She was about 13. [Maya said] ‘I don’t think that’s a very interesting question. I think there’s a lot more interesting questions than whether I’m happy or not. Am I happy? No. But I don’t aspire to be happy.’”

Justin Baldoni Got Support in Text From Rainn Wilson Amid Blake Lively Feud

Justin Baldoni allegedly received support from The Office star Rainn Wilson via text amid his public legal battle with It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively.

In texts that were sent on January 5, 2024 in a group chat that included Baldoni, actor Travis Van Winkle, musician Andy Grammer and It Ends With Us producer Jamey Heath, Wilson, 59, claimed Baldoni was “set up,” according to court documents seen by Us Weekly on Friday, November 14. The texts have been released due to Baldoni’s legal defense team filing the messages as evidence.

The text chain shows Wilson asked whether there were any updates on the situation. In response, Baldoni, 41, detailed a heated discussion he had with Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, 49.

“Ryan was talking to me like a five-year-old and scolding me. They essentially said that Jamey and I are not who we claimed to be and that for us to have a podcast is unsafe because it makes people feel like we are safe,” Baldoni wrote.

Ryan Reynolds Allegedly Calls Justin Baldoni a ‘Stand Up’ Guy’ in Texts

Baldoni went on to detail the experience of being accused of “creepy” behavior towards Lively, 38, and called it “one of the hardest nights of my life.”

“The word creepy and abuse were used in reference to me in my behavior. I was then given the words of what to say, and had to apologize which I was unable to do because my brain was trying to comprehend what was happening. I was in shock and basically went into feeling like I was a seven-year-old again when I got home last night.” he wrote. “I was emotionally paralyzed. It was as bad as it sounds.”

In the text exchange, Baldoni expressed gratitude for the support of those involved in the group chat.

Wilson responded to Baldoni’s text by claiming he was “set up and ambushed.”

“Oh my God. I can’t believe it. You were set up and ambushed and personally attacked. I’m stunned. I completely relate to you being stunned, like a deer in the Headlights,” Wilson wrote. “Probably better that you didn’t immediately. Just start apologizing. So grateful that Jamey is your partner, and could step in diplomatically as needed.”

Wilson concluded his text, “Onwards brother. Make a great and important and entertaining piece of storytelling. That’s all you can do now. So sorry for what you went thru.”

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Wilson, Baldoni and Lively for comment.

Justin Baldoni Shares Alleged Blake Lively Texts Over Infamous Rooftop Scene

Lively filed her lawsuit against Baldoni, producer Heath, studio head Steve Sarowitz, and their publicists in December 2024. The trial is scheduled for March 2026.

The legal back-and-forth began earlier in December after the actress accused her It Ends With Us costar and director of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni has denied all of the allegations. He subsequently countersued Lively and Reynolds in January, accusing the couple of extortion and defamation. Lively and Reynolds denied the allegations. A judge dismissed Baldoni’s case against Lively in June.

Baldoni and his team had the chance to amend their claims for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract. The judge gave them a deadline of June 23.  However, Baldoni ultimately opted not to do so. Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman later explained that they were refocused on striking down Lively’s original December 2024 lawsuit.
