LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has been advised to swiftly settle its inner fights ahead of the 2025 general polls.

Reverend Nase Chunga of CCAP Livingstonia Synod was preaching at late Goodall Gondwe’s send-off church service from the book of Isaiah 38:1-11 under the theme “Put your house in order.”

Chunga is advising people including politicians to put their houses in order saying at an individual level people ought to put their house in order, ” You cannot run a government when your house as an individual is not in order.”

Rev Chunga, therefore, asked DPP members to put their houses in order saying the party cannot run a country when they are failing to get together ahead of 2025 polls.

“Sitingakhale dairy kumangomva kuti mukumenyana..noo.the country has so many expectations from you, put your house in order. Gondwe was a well-established man,” preach Chunga.

Gondwe died on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the age of 87 whose burial is slated for Monday in his home district Mzimba.

This comes amid the leadership struggle the party is suffering after losing June 2020 Presidential elections
