Blue Eagles FC captain Schumacher Kuwali into charity works

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Blue Eagles Football Club Captain Schumacher Kuwali has ventured into Charity works.

Kuwali revealed on Thursday, January 25, 2024 that he is currently taking care of about 35 needy children drawn from area 25 C sector 9 where he stays.

“I started with seven (7) children by providing them with School materials, clothes and food.The number is increasing day in day out as now I have 35 of them.I never imagined the initiative will grow like this one day and with my resources I feel will not manage to handle the thing on my own hence appealing to well wishers to come in and help the children.

“I can receive any support in form of School materials, clothes,food stuffs and the like so that we reach to these children. I am planning to be preparing for the one meal a day may be after school to motivate them working hard in School so that they become reliable citizens in the near future. My goal is to have this initiative a continued one until I see these children graduating in Secondary Schools”, narrates Kuwali.

He then thanked,J.K Productions President Jim Kalua for reaching to the initiative.

Schumacher Kuwali played for Malawi National Football Team,Blue Eagles FC and UD Songo in Mozambique.

Eagles Captain Schumacher Kuwali to miss first round’s remaining games

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Blue Eagles FC Captain, Schumacher Kuwali will miss the rest of the 2022 TNM Super League first round remaining games due to injury.

Frank Vic Kalodzeni, team manager for the area 30 outfit, has confirmed that the captain will be sidelined in four remaining games for the first round.

He said currently the Flames star is having the general pains and is recovering well but team’s doctor advised him to rest a bit.

“It is true we are missing our Captain Schumacher for the rest of the first round,he is an important player to our team, his return from Mozambique added momentum to the team,but people should not panic because we have back up,we will return to our winning ways against KB on Saturday”, Kalodzeni said.

Apart from Schumacher Kuwali, Blue Eagles FC who are sitting on position two with 27 points from 11 games 2 points behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets FC who have 29 with same number of games.

Eagles are also missing the services of attackers John Malidadi Jnr,Gilbert Chirwa and defending Midfielder Oswald Maonga due to different injuries but Frank Kalodzeni said these three may return soon as they have started full time training.

Schumacher Kuwali has been instrumental for Blue Eagles FC this season scoring 4 goals and has been the architect for more than 6 goals the cops have scored through Oswald Maonga, John Malidadi Jnr and Gaddie Chirwa.

To wind up the first round Blue Eagles FC are remaining with four games against, Kamuzu Barracks FC, Ekwendeni Hammers,TN Stars and Mighty Wanderers.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Schumacher Kuwali Blue Eagles Football Club attacker who was on a two year loan at UD Songo in Mozambique has returned to his nest.

Alexander Ngwala Blue Eagles FC Chairperson has confirmed about the development, saying the player will feature for the team next season.

The sentiments have been made after Kuwali was spotted participating in Eagles friendly match against Karonga Select at Lusako Primary School ground in Karonga on Thursday,

November 25 ,2021 as one of the activities Malawi Police Service through Community Policing organized to support massive Awareness Campaign against Mob Justice.

“Schumacher Kuwali will play for Blue Eagles, his loan contract has expired at UD Songo,we are 70 percentage sure that the attacker will play for us while the other 30 that anything can happen,if our counterparts are still willing in having his services.

“He is a good player for Blue Eagles who coordinates and rule the game,I believe he will bring some changes to the squad. About John CJ Banda I can’t comment now”, says Ngwala.

On his part Schumacher Kuwali said,it feels good to be back at Blue Eagles and believes all will be well for the area 30 outfits next season.

“Teams that defeated Eagles last season should watch out because Schumacher is back,we want to return to our dominance in winning cups and our position in the Superleague and even winning it.It was sad that the team nearly got relegated in the TNM”, Kuwali said.

Schumacher Kuwali together with John CJ Banda have been in Mozambique for over two years and played for Ferroviario De Nampula and Uniao Desportivo De Songo (UD Songo).He featured in 14 games for UD Songo and managed to score eight goals.
