TNM happy with Super League escapades: To spice Bullets, Civo match with Skeffa

LILONGWE (MaraviPost) — Malawi’s flagship super league sponsors TNM has expressed satisfaction with the level of competition in the first round of 2014 Super League season.

“The two top teams Moyale and Big Bullets  are tied on log table with 29 points each in the first round and this demonstrates that they have been stiffer competition in the first round and we expecting the same in the second round” said Nsapato.

Nsapato noted that the drop in incidences if hooliganism which is milestone step towards making football a beautiful family game. He partly attributed the turn of events to the impact of the introduction of SHASHA mascot at the beginning of the season as symbol of peace during soccer matches.

“Hooliganism has in recent years cast its dark spell on the beautiful game of football and as sponsors we are happy that in the 2014 first round there have been drop in incidences but still more we experienced some some incidents and we expect teams and their fans will be proactive during the second round so that we completely eradicate hooliganism” he said.

He said SHASHA will continue to be present during some selected games at the stadium as well as other marketing activations in support of the Super League just to remind the football fans the spirit of togetherness, peace and humour.

“SHASHA will go around townships that are homes to some major clubs to unite their supporters. SHASHA will also be present during some selected games at the stadium as well as other marketing activations in support of the Super League” he said.
