CHIRADZULU-(MaraviPost)-UTM Vice President Dr Michael Usi on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 assured the nation of Tonse inclusive government once voted into power.
Usi was speaking at Mbulumbuzi in Chiradzulu during succeeded six whistle stops ahead of June 23, 2020 polls.
The UTM vice president faulted Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government for promoting tribalism and nepotism saying Malawi belongs to everyone regardless of political affiliation.
He however denounced rumors that Tonse alliance will halt religious rights including Islam arguing that the sentiments are mere DPP political gimmick..
“Everyone has a right to worship and belong to a religion of their choice and we should all refrain from voting leaders that divide us, leaders that endorse nepotism and corruption.
“This can further be avoided by voting Dr Lazarus Chakwera in the upcoming election. It is through the vision and manifesto of Tonse alliance under the young and fresh leadership of Dr Chakwera and Dr Chilima that Malawi for everyone will be attained,” urges Usi.
He adds, “Your Malawi is defined on how your household is fairing development wise, Three meals a day , Cheaper fertilizer at MK4,495 Per 50 Kg bag and One million Jobs in the first year of Tonse regime is what will make Malawi wear a new face .
“Tonse Alliance will form a government that upholds the rule of Law and that listens to people, ensuring that no human rights are infringed be it freedom of association”.
