BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Police in Chileka, Blantyre are keeping in custody Damson Waluma,27, for allegedly stabbing to death Frank Charles,19, after the two quarreled while drinking at Angoni Bar in the area.
It is reported that on July 5, 2022 the duo were having a good time at the said venue and later on they started quarrelling which resulted into a fight for the reasons better known to themselves.
In the course of fight, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed his fellow on the chest who collapsed instantly and was rushed to Lundu Health Centre where he died upon arrival.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been arrested and will appear before court after completion of paperwork to answer the charge of murder which contravenes Section 209 of the Penal Code.
Waluma hails from Mothiwa Village, Traditional Authority ( TA) Kadewere in Chiradzulu district.
