Last updated: 3 hours ago Angola has begun preparations for the funeral of former president Jose Eduardo dos Santos. Dos Santos, who ruled Angola with an iron fist for 38 years, died on July 8 in a hospital in Spain after suffering a heart attack. He will be buried in a state funeral on Sunday 28 August, on what would have been his 80th birthday.
