2023 MSCE exams start with no leakages

……121 inmates sitting for MSCE exams this year

ZOMBA-(MaraviPost)-The 2023 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations has started today, June 27, 2023 without any leakages.

Snapshot survey The Maravi Post carry in some parts of the country prior to the exams, show that there is no any single leaked materials pertaining to this year’s MSCE exams.

This year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) candidature is up by 19.4 percent from last’s year, 123,008.

Meanwhile, Malawi Prison Service has disclosed that 121 inmates are sitting for this year’s MSCE examinations.

Malawi Prison Service spokesperson Chimwemwe Shaba, the figure has slightly increased from last year’s 118.



Shaba said out of the number, three are female prisoners at Mzuzu Prison.

In 2022 MSCE results, the Malawi Prison Service Reformatory Schools registered 68 percent pass rate with one prisoner from Mzuzu Prison scoring 16 points.

MSCE exams run from June 27 to July 21 2023
