It feels good to be back home. I have arrived safely from the United States of America where I successfully fulfilled a number of official engagements which include the second edition of the International Congregation Conservation Foundation (ICCF) gala dinner.
I must say the honor I have received from the ICCF for the efforts in wildlife conservation and the fight against wild life crimes is not for me but an honor to all Malawians.
While in America,I had several bilateral, multilateral and business meetings with officials from various institutions and the USA government which were also fruitful.
The officials I spoke to are committed to come to Malawi to invest as well as assist the government of Malawi in the various projects my administration has initiated.
I feel happy to be home and I must thank you for the warm welcome you accorded me as I arrived through the Kamuzu International Airport.
