BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Leader of ECG,the Jesus Nation Church,Prophet Shepherd Bushiri,has praised the visit of South African prominent politician Floyd Shivambu as a beacon of oneness among Africans.
Bushiri expressed delight in hosting Shivambu, whose philosophy champions black unity and support.
He praised people who promote pragmatic ideologies that can propel Africa forward.
“It’s disheartening to see some individuals fueling jealousy and negativity, labelling successful black leaders as ‘corrupt’ while praising their white counterparts as ‘investors’,” he added.
According to Bushiri, Shivambu stopped by the church for a prayer session after their meeting.
“Perhaps he wanted to ‘pray away’ political stress or ensure his prayers were politically correct. Either way, his visit was a blessing, and we appreciate his humility in seeking divine guidance,”he added.
Shivambu, a former Economic Freedom Fighters member of Parliament, recently joined Zuma’s uMkhonto weSizwe in 2024.
His visit comes a few days after his former political ally Mbuyiseni Ndlozi made some controversial remarks against Bushiri during a lecture at University of Malawi.
