LONDON-(MaraviPost)-In a major move that underlines their long-term ambitions, Manchester United have secured the services of Slovenian sensation Benjamin Sesko who has agreed to a deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2031.

The 21-year-old striker, who has been one of Europe’s most talked about young talents, reportedly turned down interest from several top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, and AC Milan to join the Red Devil.

Report to the deal suggest Sesko was drawn by United’s clear vision for his role in the club’s future and Erik ten Hag’s direct involvement in convincing the player.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €60 million, with personal terms already agreed.

The deal marks one of the longest contracts handed to a player under the current regime, signaling the club’s belief in the forward’s potential.

Nicknamed the “Slovenian Haaland” for his physical presence, pace, and eye for goal, Sesko has been in outstanding form in the Bundesliga, netting 18 goals in all competitions last season.

He is also a regular for Slovenia’s national team, having impressed during the UEFA Euro 2024 campaign.

Manchester United see Sesko as a key part of their squad rebuild, with the club aiming to return to Premier League title contention in the coming season.
