Mortuary attendant arrested for selling human skull to herbalist in Nigeria

LAGOS-(MaraviPost)-The Nigerian police have arrested a 27 year-old mortuary attendant, Seun Falana for allegedly exhuming a corpse, severing the skull and selling it to a herbalist.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, Bala Elkana confirmed the incident to punch newspaper.

According to Seun Elkana, Falana together with his accomplices, Olawale Shodolamu and Dauda Tijani were arrested after Tijani was found with a black polythene bag containing a human skull at Alakija Bus stop along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

He later confessed that he was sent by the herbalist, Shodolamu, to collect the skull from a cemetery’s attendant which led to the arrest of all the three suspects.

The herbalist claimed that he bought the human skull from Falana at the sum of N10, 000 and it was used to prepare herbs and charms for his customers.

Meanwhile, all the three suspects are waiting to be charged for the misdeed.
