PRETORIA-(MaraviPost)-A pastor together with the mother of two nine year old girls and a relative have been arrested after beating life out of the two girls in Ezimambeni area .
The KZN police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka confirmed this in statement.
According to Thembeka, the trio was arrested after beating the two girls to death following complaints from the girls of being tormented by evil spirits which were instructing them to drink blood.
A report by Daily Sun indicated that the pastor together with the mother and a relative bruised the girls and left one lifeless and another unconscious before a neighbor invited police to come and check the house.
One of girls was pronounced dead on the scene while the other one was immediately transfered to the hospital and declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Other reports revealed that another girl from the family died in 2015 under similar circumstances and she was buried the next day without alerting authorities.
The three are expected to appear in magistrate court on Monday, June 1, 2020 and face two counts of murder.
