DPP Northern region governor Mzomera Ngwira hand over himself to police

MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-The former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) regional governor Christopher Mzomera Ngwira on Thursday, July 23, 2020 handed himself over to police.

Northern Region police spokesperson Peter Kalaya confirmed the incident.

The Nation reported on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 that the police had launched a man-hunt for Mzomera.

Mzomera is implicated in a case related to political violence that took place at Chibavi Ground in 2016
