Three people have died and 4 sustained various degrees of injuries in two seperate explosions in Afghan capital of Kabul on Saturday.
Kabul police spokesperson Ferdaws Faramarz confirmed the news in a statement.
According to AP news, the first explosion hit a store in the heart of the capital killing at least two Sikhs followed by a second explosion which was attached to a police car and went off in northern Kabul, killing a police officer.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast yet. Bombings, targeted killings and violence has surged across the country in recent months amid peace negotiations in Qatar between the Taliban and the Afghan government.
High-profile figures including journalists, politicians and rights activists have been frequently targeted.
Taliban militants have continued fights against government forces while rejected any foreign troops despite keeping a promise not to attack US and NATO troops.
On Tuesday, three people were killed and seven wounded in a series of explosions caused by small magnetic devices known as sticky bombs in Afghanistan.
