Argentina gay couple adopts HIV baby who was rejected by 10 families

SANTA FE-(MaraviPost)-The first openly gay couple to be wedded in Santa Fe, Argentina has adopted a baby with HIV who was rejected by 10 families.

The couple, now parents of two adopted young girls, Olivia and Victoria work for a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that helps couples to adopt undesired children.

The couple made up of Ariel and Damien adopted Olivia when she was just less than a month old.

After being rejected by ten families because she was born with HIV, the couple got a phone call and were offered the opportunity to adopt her.

They’d been waiting about three years for this call.

The two gentlemen had absolutely no doubts about that.

As soon as they could hold and feed her without a single cry, Damien and Ariel understood that there is a special connection.
