HARARE-(MaraviPost)-Zimbabwe’s controvesial PHD Ministries leader Walter Magaya was on Monday, January 26, 2026 rearrested by the Criminal Investigations Department at the Harare Magistrate Court’s parking lot.
Magaya is now facing four more alleged rape cases
Magaya was arrested as he and his team were leaving the court after both of his cases had been postponed.
His rape trial was deferred to tomorrow, where a ruling will determine whether the matter will proceed or be further postponed.
Meanwhile, the fraud trial was deferred to 27 March, pending indictment by the High Court.
The court has denied him bail, and he will remain in police custody until 16 February 2026.
