BLANTYRE (Maravipost)–Renowned musicians Faith Mussa, George Mkandawire and Lawrence Khwisa, widely known as Lulu, are among artists billed for a joint gospel show with Madalitso Kalikokha on October 5 at Robins Park in Blantyre.
Kalikokha, popular by the moniker mAda, will launch his 15 truck album ‘Kufuna kokha.
Other artists expected to perform in support of the launch are Davie Chiwaya and Princess Chitsulo.
Mr Jokes will also be in attendance to spice up the show with his funny story and amusing jokes.
However, mAda said he roped in Lulu and his Mathubela Band to reach out to some of his fans that enjoy his popular gospel trucks.
“George, Faith and Lulu are fine artists with unique voices and touch that will add value to the forthcoming show.
“Lulu is a brilliant performer, but what most people don’t know is the Christian side of his, so it is an opportunity for them to appreciate that,” said mAda.
The fusion of the artists, according to mAdA, will suit and give the audience a “special taste” and “meet their needs”.
“Being the first of its kind, the show will done in a special way to prove wrong the doubting Thomases,” he stressed.
Other songs in the album include Alipo, Ndi 1, Who, Madzi Amoyo and Kandodo.
mAdA will also perform his latest single ‘Yafika’ featuring Lulu.
