Blantyre, September 8: Big Bullets has been thrown in fresh turmoil following the resignation of the clubs supporters Chairman Isaac Jomo in Monday.
The decision comes after a serious fallout with the teams Executive Committee, especially chairman Kondi Msungama on money issues.
“I have had enough of the clubs executive committee and some Bullets fans, who think l benefit from my position. If l try to ask them how they used the K25 million donated by Joyce Banda they get angry.
These people are misusing funds at the club but they do not want to listen,” said the flamboyant chief supporter.
Jomo went to spit venom, “Let them run the show by choosing another chief supporter since lam regarded as a naughty boy for quizzing them on the teams finances”.
Jomo also stressed that there is a lot going on in the Peoples Team camp, and warned that soon the bomb will be explode.
Prior to Jomo’s resignation, there were riots during the clubs executive, supporters and players meeting on Friday at Shire Highlands Hotel in Blantyre.
During the meeting, which was held at Mudi Room in the evening, some angry fans demanded for the resignation of the clubs chairman and general secretary.
The irate fans, who carried sticks, bottle and stones reached at an extent of pouring beer to the clubs chairman before chasing the General Secretary away ( Harold Fote).
First threatened to throw in the white towel was the clubs chairman Kondi Msungama last week.
Msungama accused Jomo of being in fore front to his fellow committee members to grab part of the team’s gate revenue which Jomo dismissed claiming the money he obtains is used for a justifiable cause.
