US$3million bounty for Trump head

TEHRAN-(MaraviPost)-An Iranian lawmaker on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 put forward a US$3 million reward to anyone who can kill U.S. President Donald Trump.

Ahmad Hamzeh said this in parliament but refused to say if the reward had any official backing from Iran’s clerical rulers.

Hamzeh has been quoted by ISNA news agency saying: “On behalf of the people of Kerman province, we will pay a US$3 million reward in cash to whoever kills Trump”.

He added that If we Iran had nuclear weapons today, it would be protected from threats hence the need to put the production of long-range missiles capable of carrying unconventional warheads in their agenda.

The city of Kerman, in the province south of the capital, is the hometown of Qassem Soleimani, a prominent Iranian commander who was killed in a drone strike ordered by Trump on January 3, 2020 in Baghdad prompted Iran to fire missiles at U.S. targets in Iraq.

Commenting on the matter, the U.S. disarmament ambassador, Robert Wood dismissed the reward calling it “ridiculous”, as it shows “terrorist underpinnings” of Iran’s establishment
