LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Kauma Young Bullets are this year’s Dr Pauline Long Super Cup.
This is the annual tournament which the founder and Chief Executive Officer for Pauline Long Entrepreneurship foundation, Dr Pauline Long organise in cerebrating her birthday.
Kauma Young Bullets defeated Kauma FC 4-2 in a game which was played at Kauma ground, in the capital, Lilongwe on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Pauline Long is known for celebrating her birthday by giving back to community and this year as usual, she marks another milestone and sponsored a football tournament in Malawi to give back to the youth.
The games dubbed as Pauline Long Super Cup Football Tournament is aimed at supporting the youth in various villages, to reach their potential.
The football tournament is an initiative by Pauline Long Entrepreneurship Foundation(PLEF).
Coaches and team members have however thanked Pauline Long for such a kind gesture and asked her to continue with such initiatives to empower the youth.
“We are very happy and we wish if this could have turned into a football league in order for us to have more time of playing games. We need to develop our skills.
We also need football jerseys and footballs. These are very very important for our skills development” said Rameck Phiri captain for one of the team
He added, “We will continue praying for Dr Long, she may live long. We need her support for us to develop in the sport”.
Eight teams competed in the tournament and only four teams received cash prizes and a trophy for the winning team.
This is the fifth tournament since the tournament was launched in 2018. It was first launched in Mzimba, then went to Ntcheu, Zomba and Mulanje District.
Pauline Long Entrepreneurship Foundation is a global organisation that provides tools for leadership and entrepreneurship. The foundation cares for the welfare of young men, widows, women and young girls that need support.
The foundation also provides scholarship, and sponsors education for children in Congo, Zambia and Malawi.
It also distributes sanitary pads for needy girls in schools, distributes food to widows and is also building a multimillion kwacha women development center in Mzimba northern Malawi.
