LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The legendary American song writer for gospel music who is the main headliner of this year’s Love Malawi Festival, Don Moen, is scheduled to arrive in the country on Thursday through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).This boosts the appetite mood for gospel music lovers who have been looking for a life time chance to watch Moen performing live.
Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, International Evangelist Andrew Palau who is behind “Love Malawi Festival assured the public that Don, the pastor and producer of Christian worship music will strive to revive Malawians’ appetite for spiritual transformation with touching tracks.
Evangelist Palau hinted the need the public to utilize the festival for their personal and spiritual growth in this end times.
Palau called upon all Christians to patronize the event which will touch all life’s sphere’s including entertainments, sports, children rights, sermons among others.
“The event aims at bringing hope to Malawians who seem to have lost faith due to various social economic challenges facing. This will definitely bring spiritual transformation in many lives. What the world needs now is the true words of God which bring total peace in people’s lives.
“It’s a free festival coupled with entertainment, charity work, sports, and sermons among others. Don Moen is part of the event to spice up with spiritual and touching songs. Therefore, Malawians from all background are invited to the function,” urged Palau.
Reverend Grey Mwalabu, the festival’s coordinator who is also Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM)’s Deputy General Secretary, lauded Palau’s choice of hosting an international event in Malawi.
Reverend Mwalabu said the festival has united all Christian churches in the country which is a recipe for Christ followers’ spiritual transfiguration.
Palau is into area-wide outreach ministry which gives an opportunity to cities around the globe to appreciate God’s mercy through free services.
He has managed to share the gospel with more than two million people through live events and media while targeting to reach 10 capital cities in Africa in ten years.
According to the organizers, Love Malawi Festival aims at enhancing significant effort to foster unity and reach out with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
