LILONGWE (MaraviPost)—Malawi leader Peter Mutharika has delegated Vice President Saulos Chilima to attend the inauguration ceremony of Tanzania’s President-elect John Magufuli. Chilima will leave for Tanzani tomorrow.
“The Vice President has been delegated by His Excellency President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to attend the swearing in ceremony at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Thursday, 5th November,” Chilima’s press secretary Pilirani Phiri said in a statement.
According to the statement, Chilima will return home the same Thursday soon after the inauguration through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
