BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-In a shocking turn of events, a 26-year-old prophet from Ilambo Pentecost Church in Mwanza has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl under the guise of exorcising evil spirits.

The girl, whose identity has been kept anonymous, revealed that Prophet Ali defiled her multiple times, claiming that it was necessary to break the hold of the evil oceanic spirits that were plaguing her.
Shockingly, he did so without using protection, putting the girl’s health and well-being at risk.
The trauma of the ordeal was compounded by the psychological manipulation and religious coercion employed by the prophet, leaving the girl feeling helpless and confused.
It was only after the girl fell ill again, prompting her to confide in her mother about the abuse she had suffered, that the truth came to light.
In a brave act of courage, the mother immediately reported the incident to the police, leading to Prophet Ali’s arrest.
