Malawi’s musician Katelele Ching’oma dies

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Musician Katelele Ching’oma has died at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe, his wife has confirmed.

According to family members, Ching’oma died due to kidney failure.

Ching’oma, who was from the Shire Valley, was famed for songs such as ‘Asowe’ and ‘Kuwoniwa’.

This comes barely months after another musician Thomas Chibade died.
