Mpamba offers discount on Lake of Stars tickets

Lake of Stars (LOS) official telecoms partner andMalawi’s premier mobile network provider TNM, today proudly announces launch of a 25 percent ticket discount to the festival for customers who buy tickets through the company’s mobile money service, Mpamba.

TNM’s Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager, Limbani Nsapato said customers who buy their tickets to the three-day festival through Mpamba will pay K 23,250, down from K31,000 representing a discount coupon of 25 percent.

“TNM Mpamba has made access to the Lake of Stars festival easily affordable as customers who buy tickets get to save K7,750 to enter Nkopola where the event will take place,” said Nsapato.

The offer of the ticket discount is valid for 30 days from July 24 to August 24, 2014.

Nsapato said to benefit from the offer, TNM customers are requested to dial *444#, select 1 for account , select 1 for send money and input 0881445555 for the account number.

“This package is one of the many exciting activities that TNM has lined up ahead of the September 26-28 festival. This offer has been designed to provide convenience to our customers and will help them save both time and money at once,” he said.

The PR Manager said as official mobile telecoms partner of Lake of Stars, TNM is committed to contributing to a successful festival through provision of innovative mobile telecoms solutions such as Mpamba, among others.

He said during the festival, TNM marketing experiential teams will provide instant services such as sim-card, airtime and mobile money transactions using the Mpamba service.

“Patrons and other stakeholders of the festival should look forward to an exciting event with TNM as our partnership with the LOS organisers takes away the stress and hurdle of staying in touch.  The crystal-clear TNM network will be available at the festival to provide all primary connectivity services be it voice calls, SMS, internet data and mobile money transactions,” he said.

Lake of Stars Founder Will Jameson, said the festival was excited with the excitement and convenience brought about by the partnership with Mpamba.
