LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Board of Directors of Malawi gaming board and National Lotteries have appointed Rachel Mjiga, as its Chief Executive officer.
In press statement signed by Malawi Gaming Board’s chairperson Bernad Ndau and made available to The Maravi Post says Mjiga holds a masters of Science in Entrepreneurship from the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Malawi University of business and applied sciences (MUBAS) she is a fellow of the British Council/ LEAD-Leadership programme.

The statement also states that she brings to the board a wealth experience in the technology space, Corporate strategy; Enterprise solutions ; regulatory and stakeholder engagement and project management.
The statement has therefore highlighted that the Board has full confidence that Mjiga will steer the organisation to meet its ambitious strategic goals making it a top-notch regulator in the fast developing gaming and lotteries industry and wishes the best of success as she takes on this new and challenging role.
Before joining the board Mjiga has worked for Airtel Malawi in various capacities for a period of over 10 years rising the position of Director of enterprise services before that she served in various roles related to brand management for the coca-cola group in particular and the FCMG Industry which makes her qualify for the role.
