Renown Nigerian gospel artist Chinedu Nwadike succumb to leukemia

Abuja-(MaraviPost) – Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Prince Chinedu Nwadike has died of blood cancer, known as leukemia at the age of 38 at a hospital in Abuja.

The former governorship candidate in Imo state, Uche Nwosu, confirmed the news of the passing of Nwadike.

“This afternoon, I received with shock the passing away of one of my great supporters, Evangelist Chinedu Nwadike, one of Nigeria’s best Gospel artistes who was suffering from kidney failure and leukemia,” said Nwosu in a statement.

The former dancer to Igbo gospel singer Gozie Okeke and specific assistant to mobilize former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha, died after recovering from a kidney problem, Vanguard reported.

Before his demise, the “God of vengeance” hit maker was a member of the Imo State Government Administration under His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and he reportedly performed creditably in his office as the Special Assistant on Mobilization.

According to Nwosu, Chinedu Nwadike was also an active member of Nwosu’s Campaign Organization and he supported him during the 2019 Governorship Campaigns.

Born on 26 June 1983 in Imo state, Chinedu Nwadike was raised in Owerri and he began singing at a young age, although he was first seen dancing in music videos before he became a full-fledged gospel singer and actor

He is survived by his long-time associate and wife Dorah Chinedu Nwadike and three children.
