Rev Dr Learnard C Muocha dies at the Age of 104. Years

The African Baptist Assembly of the Providence Industrial Mission, wishes to announce to the Public the death of Rev Dr Learnard C. Muocha, once served as the President of the Providence Industrial Mission and second successor of Rev John Chilembwe.

He peacefully died at his home in Nyungwe, Chiradzulu on the night of 24^th July 2015 at the age of 104 years, and burial is on Sunday 26^th July, 2015 at his home place in Nyungwe, Chiradzulu along John Chilembwe Highway to Zomba.

Rev LC Muocha was ordained to the ministry on 26^th May 1949, and served as the President of PIM from 1971 to 1987. During his ministry as a pastor he opened PIM churches in Zambia, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo, then Zaire. And he managed to ordained 50 pastors during the term of his office, and the church expanded widely to other regions of Africa and Malawi.

He left a wife, 10 children and 250 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
