A candlelight memorial service was held in Salima on Saturday, July 13, 2024, to honor the legacy of Vice President Saulos Klaus Chilima. Throughout the service, attendees were inspired by the words “Osaopa. Osatopa. Osafooka,” which translate to “Don’t be scared. Don’t get tired. Don’t get exhausted.” These sentiments encapsulated Chilima’s spirit and his call for perseverance and resilience.
