Azam TV celebrates winners of christmas-new year’s raffle draw

MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-Azam TV, under the Bakhressa Group, on Saturday hosted a grand prize distribution ceremony for the winners of its Christmas and New Year’s raffle draw.

The event brought together winners from different parts of the country, who walked away with exciting prizes that changed their lives.

The grand prize winner, Wilfred Nyirenda from Mangochi, took home a staggering K8,755,000. Nyirenda expressed his joy and gratitude to Azam TV for the life-changing prize. “I’m happy to have won and encourage fellow subscribers to participate in promotions like these,” he said, adding that,”This prize will help me achieve my dreams and improve my life.”

Joseph Douglas from Mzuzu won the second prize of K4,377,500. Douglas was overjoyed and thanked Azam TV for the generous prize.

“This prize is a blessing from God, and I’m grateful to Azam TV for making it possible,” he said.

Geoffrey Mvuwu, another lucky winner, took home a brand-new motorcycle. Mvuwu was overwhelmed with joy, saying, “I never expected that one from the north would win, considering that TV is based in the south and not in the north.People should have confidence in Azam TV.” His win was a testament to the fairness and transparency of the raffle draw.

James Kachingwe won a 43-inch smart TV, saying he was surprised to receive a call informing him of his win. “I didn’t even know there was a competition,” he added. “I’m thrilled to have won and will enjoy watching my favorite shows on this new TV.”

The raffle draw was conducted fairly without human intervention, with entries coming from different regions. According to Azam TV, 41% of entries came from the South, 37% from the North, and the remaining percentage from the Centre. This shows that the competition was inclusive and gave everyone an equal chance to win.

Azam TV General Manager Syed Kadavsha expressed satisfaction with the response to the competition.

“We’re happy with how subscribers responded to the competition, and we’ll continue with these competitions,” he said. Azam TV’s slogan, “Chisangalalo Kwa Onse” (Joy to All), reflects its commitment to bringing joy and entertainment to its subscribers.

Malawi’s integrated premier mobile network and ICT provider, Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Azam TV to allow customers to pay monthly subscription through TNM’s mobile money platform Mpamba.

-said the agreement accords TNM Mpamba users the opportunity to pay their AZAM TV subscription any time, any day and anywhere.Jonazi said

“this innovation presents convenience to our customers and knocks out any costs that may have been incurred when travelling long distances to pay for their bills.The Mpamba platform as a payment platform also grants the user of the service utmost safety as it is done electronically without having to carry any cash,” said Jonazi.

He said transacting through Mpamba offers users of the service the most secure, trusted and safest mode of payment.

The Senior Manager – Consumer Services added that Mpamba as a wallet offers the user the luxury of using the facility as and when that user feels appropriate.

To pay for AZAM subscriptions, any TNM Mpamba customer is simply required to dial *444# select 3 for payments, 2 for subscriptions and follow onscreen prompts.
