By Vincent Gunde

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Commander in Chief of Muvi wa Chilungamo pressure group Bantu Saunders Jumah, supports calls for referendum in Malawi mainly on constitutional changes, redraw and amendments and not to unseat President Lazarus Chakwera claiming that his mandate will come to an end in 2025.

Jumah observes that calls for referendum is valid and authentic coming out of fear by many Malawians that the 7th Republic to be elected in 2025 will find no money in government saying currently.

He argues that Malawi has a national debts of MK6.18 trillion and by 2025, it will be over MK10 trillion.

Jumah added that Malawians are viewing the Tonse Alliance government as a careless government and has no welfare of its citizens at heart.

“If the elections are held today or in 2025, the Tonse Government under President Chakwera won’t make it,” he dares.

Jumah said citizens wants referendum now and not yesterday to avoid continued borrowing by the Tonse Alliance government for consumption claiming that Tonse partners are quiet and do not want to be part and parcel of the future.

He therefore called upon church and mosque leaders, Parliament and citizens to join hands together to serve mother-Malawi in a quest for a referendum for the citizens to choose whether they remain with the same constitution or change.

The Commander in Chief said Malawi cannot live in power through excessive borrowing citing MK90 billion a month to 2060.

As some of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) officials are advocating for thinking that President Chakwera will rule up to 2060 describing this as making Chakwera to be life president.

“It is sad that that MCP and its Alliance partners are afraid of holding NEC meetings in their parties afraid of being told the truth that they are the people who do not wish the country well,” said Jumah.

Chakwera’s Tonse Alliance administration is currently in economic mess up; shortages of drugs, forex, fuel, high cost of living.

“Chakwera, Mutharika are liars, cruel who don’t deserve Malawians’ votes in 2025”-Muvi wa Chilungamo

By Vincent Gunde

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Commander in Chief of Muvi wa Chilungamo pressure group Bantu Saunders Jumah, has advised Malawians including those in the diaspora not to go and elect a hyena A and B claiming that they are all hyenas beside changing mountains.

Mutharika and Chakwera not need to be trusted

Jumah has since urged Malawians to prepare to vote for a dog in 2025 to protect hard earned taxes which hyenas are playing with it forgetting that those paying taxes are in pain and suffering for poor governance in their country.

He said any mistake by Malawians to vote for hyena A and B thinking that hyena A will guard their Kraal will live forever and they will realize that by 2030 Malawi is owing the world millions of dollars as compared to today which as at MK4.5 trillion.

Writing on his face book page, Jumah is appealing to Malawians that time has ripen to put a dog in a kraal for hyenas to retain to the mountains saying he has trust that with a little resources they have, they will put a dog to guard against stolen tax payers money.

Jumah said Peter Mutharika and and Reverend Lazarus Chakwera are of no difference from each other saying; “Both of then don’t wish their country well. They promised Singapore and one million job creations which have ended up on the mouth as a campaign tool to woo voters to vote for them”.

He said both Mutharika and Chakwera are liars, corrupt, careless and myopic, Malawians are just laughing and smiling at them while their country is being destroyed.

“President Chakwera is a copyright of Mutharika, Malawians don’t see any difference between them in their styles of leadership.

“Chakwera and Mutharika have been taking a huge entourage to United Nations General Assembly chartering planes, living in expensive hotel rooms in secret giving an example of President Chakwera who chartered a plane to USA at 20,000 US Dollars per hour”, he said,

Jumah added, “In 2025 the 7th Republic will be born in Malawi and this will see all criminals who were decorated in the 6th Republic as innocent for being part of government not to bounce back into government’.

Amid Malawi grappling with fuel shortages, high cost of living, Chakwera is currently enjoying life in New York in the name of attending 77th United National General Assembly (UNGA).

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Lesotho who was in the country as a guest of Honour to Muvi wa Chilungamo pressure group Mindset Change project in Blantyre, Dr. Mothejoa Metseng called upon African citizens including Malawians to learn and listen to fresh indigenous wisdom.

Dr. Metseng said if MusiMaimane Movement in South Africa is anything to go by, it has influenced the outcome of the past local elections better saying, “It would have been registered as a political Party saying people need to be seriously interrogate the efficacy of a Movement as opposed to a political party and assess if the destiny of future generations does not lie in that direction”.

He said people need to carefully debate the need for elevating a greed of national issues above blind devotion to political ideologies which have so far failed to pluck people from the precipice of self-destruction and degradation.

Dr. Metseng said Malawi like other countries on the continent attained independence from the colonial masters with a promise to better the lives of ordinary Malawians but that promise has remained a distant mirage to this day not only in Malawi but on the whole continent.

He said Malawians like their counterparts in the whole region and continent have remained slaves of ideologies divorced from the common understanding of their people saying these ideologies are often expressed in a foreign language that does not resonate with the culture and idiom of their respective countries.

The former deputy Lesotho PM said observed that foreign ideologies have kept Africans prisoners in their own countries for well over fifty years 50 years saying, “It’s now time to urgently address the need to depart from these foreign ideologies and embrace the indigenous wisdom and see if they cannot change their mindset and build better communities in their respective countries”

He added that the Mind-set change Movement is all encompassing and allows genuine freedom of opinions and views in the true African tradition which will only be through a mass mobilization of opinion and of ideas that people shall be able to find the will and determination necessary for their success.

Dr. Metseng said Africans for a long time has failed to address to this day mind-set change possible without addressing the type of education.

“They have inherited from their colonial masters saying they must begin to ponder the critical question of pillaging their resources which continue to be exported as raw materials only to come back to them as finished goods from outside the borders.

“A better Malawi is possible, a mind-set change to create the Malawi we desire is possible, the agenda for such a mind-set change is possible and all these three lie in the outcome of this forum,’’ said Dr. Metseng.
