MARIE-ALIX DE PUTTER JOINS PRAXIS, GLOBAL NETWORK FOR HIGH-IMPACT LEADERSHIP

LOME, Togo, 27 February 2026 -/African Media Agency(AMA)/ – The Bluemind Foundation announces that its Founder and President, Marie Alix De Putter, has been selected to join the Praxis Africa Accelerator, an internationally recognized ecosystem supporting founders committed to building organizations that change systems, not just outcomes.

Praxis brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders who view enterprises and organizations not merely as economic instruments but as architectures capable of sustainably transforming social systems. Rooted in a tradition of rigorous ethical and spiritual reflection, the ecosystem supports leaders for whom faith is an inner discipline in service of the common good.

This selection comes at a moment of strategic acceleration for the Bluemind Foundation, a pioneer of an innovative community-based mental health model deployed in Francophone Africa, notably in Togo, Cameroon, and Côte d’Ivoire.

A SYSTEMIC APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH

French-Cameroonian, Marie-Alix De Putter has developed over the years a thesis that has become central to her work: mental health is health; it is a social, cultural, and political infrastructure. Her work raises a crucial question of public governance: what becomes of a society when psychological suffering remains invisible, underfunded, and politically marginalized?
From this inquiry, she founded the Bluemind Foundation and designed innovative community-based interventions that bring care to where trust already exists, build bridges with public systems, and make mental health legitimate, measurable, and fundable.
The Heal by Hair program, which trains hairdressers as mental health ambassadors, exemplifies this socially rooted engineering, designed from the outset for institutional integration.
In less than five years:

  • Over 300,000 women have received early support;
  • Public campaigns have reached more than 350 million people;
  • Strategic partnerships have been established with universities, governments, and international institutions;
  • A scientific evaluation protocol, supported by the Development Innovation Fund, is currently underway in Togo

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AND A NEW PHASE OF STRUCTURING

Joining the Praxis program represents international recognition of the model developed by the Bluemind Foundation.

It will strengthen governance structures before scaling, deepen sustainable funding and public integration mechanisms, and embed the Foundation within an international network of impact funders, granting access to patient capital aligned with its mission. At the same time, it will enhance coherence between organizational culture, performance, and institutional accountability.

The Foundation is preparing for regional scale-up, with an ambitious multi-country impact goal by 2030: • 5,000 trained hairdresser-ambassadors;

  • 3,000 active community hubs ;
  • Over 5 million women and youth with structured access to mental health support. To meet the extensive needs in West and Central Africa, the Bluemind Foundation is entering a new phase of capital structuring for broader deployment, combining philanthropic funding, institutional partnerships, and sustainable public integration mechanisms.

From Lomé (Togo), the Foundation is structuring an African model designed for the realities of the continent and the world, with a clear mission: to make care accessible to everyone, everywhere, every day.

A UNIQUE VOICE IN CARE GOVERNANCE

Marie-Alix de Putter’s path was forged by an experience of devastating personal loss. While four months pregnant, she lost her husband to assassination. That rupture became the lens through which she understood everything that followed: when care systems are absent or inaccessible, suffering is never private—it becomes economic, institutional, and political.

Her approach combines systemic design, scientific rigor, strategic storytelling, and institutional negotiation. An author with three Master’s degrees and an Executive MBA, trained at Harvard Business School and Oxford, Marie-Alix de Putter regularly speaks in academic, economic, and political arenas on public health, leadership, and organizational transformation.

Her leadership has been recognized as a Desmond Tutu Fellow (AFLI), Best Woman Leader in Africa (AIFA), one of the 30 Most Innovative People in Africa (Quartz), and with inclusion in the Biographical Dictionary of French Protestants. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Le Monde, BBC, The Guardian, Vogue, Jeune Afrique, Der Spiegel, and other major international media.

A STRUCTURING MILESTONE

“If redemption were a spectrum, Praxis would sit at its most demanding edge. I enter the inaugural cohort of the Praxis Africa Accelerator with gratitude and gravity, aware that as impact grows, responsibility deepens. At a pivotal moment for the Bluemind Foundation, Praxis strengthens not only our strategy but also our internal architecture—the moral and organizational discipline necessary to scale without diluting meaning and values. This important milestone belongs to every Blueminder who engages, often away from the headlines, where systems are fragile and the cost of inaction is measured in (young) lives.” – Marie-Alix de Putter, President and Founder, Bluemind Foundation

Praxis Accelerator Class of 2026 © Praxis

This selection marks a key step in the Bluemind Foundation’s international positioning and confirms its ambition: to to embed African community-based mental health models — culturally legitimate, scientifically evaluated, and economically viable — into the institutions that shape public life.

8 Must-Watch HBO Max Sports Documentaries on Right Now (February 2026)

HBO Max is likely the best streamer when it comes to sports content.

In fact, sports documentaries have become just as crucial to the platform’s success as its many prestige television shows. Exploring legends such as Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods and Magic Johnson, these docs feature human narratives that are truly cinematic.

This January, Watch With Us has added two excellent sports documentaries to its master list. First, LFG chronicles the fight for equal pay in women’s soccer.

You can also check out Being Serena, which takes a look at the life of the iconic tennis player.

One of the Best Sci-Fi Remakes Ever Made Is Leaving HBO Max Soon

‘LFG’ (2021)

Three months before the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, a lawsuit was leveled against the U.S. Soccer Federation by the players for pay discrimination. LFG (which stands for the US women’s soccer team’s rallying cry, “Let’s f–king go”) follows Megan Rapinoe, Jessica McDonald, Becky Sauerbrunn, Kelley O’Hara, Christen Press, Sam Mewis and Julie Foudy as they seek to gain equal pay, while the documentary interweaves their demanding and impressive athletic careers in addition to their record-breaking 2019 World Cup victory. However, these ladies have plenty of courage and resilience in addition to physical strength, and LFG explores what it’s like for them to be at the center of radical social change.

Whether you’re a soccer fan or you aren’t, LFG is a captivating documentary about a fascinating piece of modern sports history. The movie is as charismatic as the courageous women at the center of the narrative, and while the film careens towards an unavoidably frustrating conclusion, the path to getting there is riveting and invigorating. The film features exciting sports footage, news coverage and revealing interviews with the players themselves.

‘Being Serena’ (2018)

Serena Williams is a living legend on the tennis court, having won four Olympic gold medals, 39 Grand Slam titles and the most women’s singles matches in Grand Slam history. However, the celebrity athlete had managed to keep coverage around her private life relatively low-key until she announced the pregnancy of her first child in 2017 with then-fiancé Alex Ohanian. Thus, the five-part Being Serena gives viewers an intimate look at Williams like never before, exploring her pregnancy, motherhood and marriage, which she somehow manages to balance with being a sports icon and businesswoman.

Being Serena is an engrossing and refreshingly “warts and all” portrait of a star athlete learning to find herself again in her new identity. The film features intimate footage of Williams adapting to being a wife and mother after mounting an incredible career in sports. However, Being Serena is also honest about the immense struggles that Williams faced during her traumatic pregnancy, birth and postpartum, but ultimately she defied the odds and mounted a successful comeback merely ten months after the birth of her daughter, Alexis.

‘Alex vs. ARod’ (2025)

The polarizing career of baseball’s Alex Rodriguez is told in this riveting, three-part documentary comprised of intimate interviews with Rodriguez himself. At only 18 years old when he was drafted, Rodriguez soon seemed poised to take over the game of baseball when he hit the majors in 1994. He signed a record-high contract to join the Texas Rangers in 2000, but turned to steroids after he joined the Yankees in 2004. When it was discovered, he was exiled — though not without trying to lie his way out first.

A self-described “recovering narcissist,” Alex vs. ARod is a very honest interrogation of Rodriguez’s drug use and public deception as opposed to a sterling celebration of his career highlights. With the needling of director Gotham Chopra, Rodriguez ultimately gets refreshingly candid about his choices and where they stemmed from. Alex vs. ARod is a fascinating and illuminating look at failure and recovery.

‘Charlie Hustle and the Matter of Pete Rose’ (2024)

Baseball player Pete Rose was banned from Major League Baseball in 1989, when it was discovered he was betting on games while he was the manager for the Cincinnati Reds. Since then, Rose has attempted to lobby against his ban but has not seemed penitent for his actions. Charlie Hustle and the Matter of Pete Rose is an illuminating look at the star and all-time hits leader’s career in the sport while it searches for Rose’s own path to redemption.

This four-part documentary includes never-before-seen interviews with the late Rose that depict him as a man who is still far too unwilling to atone for his sins even over thirty years later, and director Mark Monroe catches him in several lies, going as far as to interrogate him over his statutory rape allegation. It’s a sobering, but compelling, portrait of fame, desperation and denial.

‘What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali’ (2019)

Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day), this documentary chronicles the life and legacy of boxing star Muhammad Ali. The film charts Ali’s rise to heavyweight greatness, through the height of his career as a champion boxer and leading into his later life as an icon and social activist. Through his many challenges, clashes, victories and setbacks, Fuqua paints a portrait of a man who became a legend and ultimately a symbol of humanity and peace.

Despite being nearly three hours, the film never feels excessive. Using archival footage, Ali is allowed to tell his own story through numerous interviews, which plainly reveal the professional and personal contradictions of a man who is easy to mythologize, but was ultimately just a man — and one whose ego occasionally threatened to overtake him. Thus, his larger-than-life status is both humanized and immortalized in this engaging story of a captivating life.

‘Tiger’ (2021)

Based on the 2018 biography Tiger Woods, Tiger is a two-part miniseries that examines the iconic golfer’s rise, fall and ultimate return to the green. The documentary examines Tiger Woods’ relationship with his father and how it affected his career, as well as his 2009 cheating scandal. Tiger paints a portrait of a gifted athlete whose dedication and craft brought him untold fame and also untold excess, leading him down a dark spiral that he managed to triumphantly return from with his win at the 2019 Masters.

Instead of featuring testimony and perspective from the man himself, Tiger utilizes interviews with people in Woods’ orbit. This includes his former caddie Steve Williams, his ex-girlfriend, Bryant Gumbel, Nick Faldo, and even Rachel Uchitel — the journalist and media personality involved in Woods’ cheating scandal. Even though Tiger lacks Woods’ voice, it is no less an exceedingly in-depth and revealing look at the golf celebrity, one that reveals his flaws in a way that exposes his own humanity.

‘Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals’ (2010)

Beginning at the 1979 NCAA championship game, star athletes Magic Johnson and Larry Bird established their years-spanning rivalry. After Johnson’s team, the Michigan State Spartans, defeated Bird’s Indiana State Sycamores in 1979, Johnson got drafted to play with the Los Angeles Lakers, and Bird went to the Boston Celtics, eventually clinching the “Rookie of the Year” title. For years, the Celtics and the Lakers tossed the NBA Championship title back and forth between each other.

Ultimately, both men’s careers would be cut short by physical ailments: an HIV diagnosis for Johnson and a back injury for Bird. Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals charts the two athletes’ rise to fame and competition with one another to their retirement and current status as real-life friends. The Peabody Award-winning documentary examines their heydays as well as the racial tensions that bolstered the rivalry between the Celtics and the Lakers, crafting a riveting story of two men vying for greatness, both ultimately undone by their own vices.

‘Fists of Freedom: The Story of The ’68 Summer Games’ (1999)

This sports documentary from 1999 surrounds the 1968 Olympic Games that took place in Mexico City, one of America’s most culturally and socially important moments. With racial tensions flaring from a year that took the lives of both Martin Luther King Jr. and President John F. Kennedy, the games culminated with the historic “Black Power” salutes by winning athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos while on their victory stand.

11 Best Prime Video Sports Documentaries on Right Now (January 2026)

Using rare archival footage in addition to interviews with Smith and other athletes like Lee Evans and George Foreman, plus activist Harry Edwards, Fists of Freedom: The Story of The ’68 Summer Games takes viewers back in time to a pivotal moment in the 20th century, and the events both before and afterwards. In the end, the two men were not welcomed back home after their defiant gesture, and it endures as a revealing portrait of respectability politics and civil rights issues that are still ongoing to this day.

But as we move through different perspectives — police officer Paul (Alden Ehrenreich), enraged father Archer (Josh Brolin), drug addict James (Austin Abrams), school principal Marcus (Benedict Wong) — bits and pieces of a sinister plot come into play, all leading to a young boy named Alex Lilly (Cary Christopher).

3. ‘Sinners’

Rob Reiner and Wife Michele’s Family Break Silence After Couple’s Death

The family of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, broke their silence following the couple’s death.

According to a report by Variety, published in the late hours of Sunday, December 14, the pair’s family shared a statement after Rob and Michele were killed inside their Los Angeles home that day.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner,” a family spokesman said in a statement shared with the outlet. “We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”

TMZ first reported on Sunday that the Los Angeles Fire Department was called out to the couple’s Brentwood home “for medical aid,” where a 78-year-old man and an “approximately 68” year-old woman were found. Us Weekly confirmed later that night that the two people were “determined dead on the scene.”

They were later confirmed to be Rob and Michele.

Us Weekly has reached out to the LAPD for comment.

A press conference held by the LAPD on Sunday night, reported on by Deadline, revealed further findings by the LAPD. Per the outlet, Deputy Chief Alan S. Hamilton stated that the LAPD “is currently conducting an ongoing homicide investigation into the two deaths at Rob Reiner’s Brentwood home.”

Hamilton added that the LAPD “has not identified a suspect at this time” and is not pursuing any persons of interest. The press conference did, however, confirm that the couple were found dead “from apparent stab wounds.”

Gene Hackman’s Family Doesn’t Want to ‘Speculate’ Ahead of Toxicology Report

The outlet also noted that Hamilton “avoided classifying the investigation as a murder one.” Instead, the Deputy Chief labelled the ordeal a “death investigation” and detailed that the organization’s “Robbery-Homicide Division” was handling the proceedings.

Rob’s vast body of work spans significant directorial projects including When Harry Met Sally, This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, Stand By Me, A Few Good Men and Misery. He also rose to fame as an actor, with film roles in The First Wives Club and The Wolf of Wall Street.

Rob also appeared in a string of acclaimed TV series: a regular in All in the Family and a guest star in The Bear and New Girl. He played himself in shows including 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Simpsons and The Larry Sanders Show.

Rob, the son of comic actor Carl Reiner and singer Estelle Rebost, also cofounded Castle Rock, a production company that brought the likes of Seinfeld to TV screens as well as iconic films including The Shawshank Redemption, City Slickers and In the Line of Fire.

Michele was a photographer and met Rob while the pair worked on When Harry Met Sally.

He married Michele in May 1989 and together the pair welcomed three children: sons Jake and Nick, and daughter, Romy. Rob was also the adoptive father to Tracy Reiner, whom he shared with his late former wife Penny Marshall.

Rob won two Emmy awards for his performance in All in the Family and was also nominated for five Golden Globes.

I Watched Prime Video’s New No. 1 Thriller That’s Better Than ‘The White Lotus’

From The White Lotus to Patricia Highsmith‘s Ripley books, I can’t get enough of rich people being made to suffer.

Prime Video’s newest show, Malice, is right up that same alley. It stars Jack Whitehall as a young man who ingratiates himself with a wealthy family for nefarious purposes.

It’s a delightful and dramatic slice of soap opera thriller, and Watch With Us thinks it should be your next binge-watch.

Here’s why I think Malice is better than The White Lotus and most “rich people are bad” mystery shows streaming right now.

5 Most Anticipated Prime Video Movies and Shows of Fall 2025, Ranked

It’s a Little Bit Like ‘Saltburn’ and ‘The White Lotus’ — Only Better

If the past few years are any indication, pop culture content that depicts awful rich people getting their just desserts is what the people want to see — let’s not think too hard about why that is. At any rate, Malice follows Jack Whitehall’s Adam, a tutor who worms his way into being a male nanny (or “manny”) for the much wealthier Tanner family.

The Tanners are led by businessman Jamie (David Duchovny), who is not the best dad to his kids, Dexter (Phoenix Laroche), Kit (Harry Gilby) and April (Teddie Allen), although he still seems quite hot and heavy with wife Nat (Carice Van Houten). If you enjoyed movies like Saltburn or shows like Ripley and The White Lotus, there’s a lot here to enjoy. Gorgeous locales, a family with money-induced brain-rot and a suspicious little guy intent on getting revenge against them.

And yes, while The White Lotus is great, season 3 was a major letdown and left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Malice is even better than that season because it sets up an intriguing mystery and delivers on it. There’s no false red herrings, no obvious suspect and no loose narratives that lead to nowhere — instead, it tells a relatively straightforward revenge plot with an anti-hero you root for.

David Duchovny Plays a Jerk You Can’t Help But Like

One thing Watch With Us is gonna do is we’re gonna watch a show starring David Duchovny. Most people are familiar with Duchovny from his iconic role as Fox Mulder on The X-Files, but the guy is a fantastic actor, and funny too. He particularly excels at playing charming or impish a-holes but in a very nonchalant way, and Duchovny is in fine form, conveying this type of personality in Malice with plenty of wry humor.

Jamie Tanner is a dick, and yet it’s hard to hate him, partly because he is given some redeeming qualities. But a lot of that redemption can be chalked up to the way Duchovny plays him. Duchovny also does a great job at evoking the cruelty and carelessness of men who are so rich that petty irritations still manage to get the better of them, despite nearly all their problems otherwise being solved with their money.

It’s Fun to Watch Horrible Rich People Suffer

Harry Gilby, Teddie Allen, Clarice van Houten, David Duchovny in Malice
Harry Gilby, Teddie Allen, Clarice van Houten and David Duchovny in Malice Amazon/MGM Studios / Courtesy Everett Collection

Watching a show like Malice can be incredibly cathartic, because while it’s so delightful to watch horrible people get what’s coming to them, it’s more fun when they’re wealthy. People who have a lot of money often feel like their wealth shields them from retribution for bad behavior, or even emboldens it — meanwhile, the rest of us, the lowly proletariat, just have to sit back and take the abuse.

Even though Adam’s motives are left unclear for much of the show, it’s entertaining to watch him spin webs, lay traps and just basically terrorize the horrible Tanner family (Jamie, in particular) in very quiet and calculated ways. He tosses Jamie’s passport into the ocean, poisons food and even flirts with Nat to try to disturb the sanctity of Jamie and Nat’s marriage. Malice combines audience fascination with luxurious lives and the nagging desire to see someone set it all on fire.

The Show Keeps Things Vague Until the Very End

From the jump, Adam is very calculated in his plan to gain the trust of the Tanner family, so we know that he is motivated by a grudge. At one point early on, Adam stands over Jamie, drunk on the ground, and says, “I could kill you right now if I wanted. But I’m not going to do that. Because I want you to suffer, just like I did.” For what reasons Adam suffered remains unspoken until closer to the season’s conclusion.

Now That ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Is Over, Watch These 5 Great Shows

Keeping Adam’s motivations unclear might frustrate some viewers, but it also allows for Malice to keep people hooked and guessing until the very end — when Adam’s plot is finally revealed in full. Why reveal all the cards so quickly? And at only six episodes, there’s not much waiting to do either. Malice is fantastically bingeable, and the reveal is well worth the wait.

Diddy’s Rep Slams Report That Rapper Was Caught Drinking Alcohol in Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ rep denied a report that the disgraced music mogul was caught drinking homemade alcohol in prison.

TMZ reported on Friday, November 7, that Diddy — who is incarcerated at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey — was caught drinking a concoction of Fanta, sugar and apples left to ferment for two weeks.

However, Diddy’s official X account denied the claims in a since-deleted post on Saturday, November 8. “The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family,” the post read.

A spokesperson for Diddy added to People, “There have been several false and reckless reports circulating about Mr. Combs. He has not violated any prison rules. His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously.”

Inside Diddy’s New Life Behind Bars: Ex Inmates and More Talk ‘Pure Hell’

“This is only his first week at FCI Fort Dix, and unfortunately, rumors will surface throughout his time there. We ask the public and the press to give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth, and the grace to move forward in peace,” the statement continued.

Us Weekly has reached out to Diddy’s representatives for further comment.

A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Us on October 30 that Diddy, 55, had been transferred to FCI Fort Dix to complete the remainder of his four-year prison sentence on two charges of transportation to engagement in prostitution. FCI Fort Dix is a low-security prison for men and houses around 4,000 prisoners.

Diddy is scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028, per the Bureau of Prisons website. He could get out earlier with good behavior or after completing certain programs during his incarceration.

What Diddy Eats in Jail: Inside Commissary Menu at NYC Detention Center

The Bad Boy Records founder was previously incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was remanded following his initial arrest on charges including sex trafficking in September 2024. He remained there through his trial, which began in May and concluded with a guilty verdict on the prostitution-related charges on July 2. (Diddy was cleared of two counts of trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy.) The music star has maintained his innocence and denied all charges against him.

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison during a sentencing hearing on October 3, which is just over four years. The year he has spent behind bars already will count towards his sentence. Judge Arun Subramanian also ordered him to pay a $500,000 fine and complete five years of supervised release when he leaves prison.

During his sentencing, Subramanian encouraged Diddy to “make the most” of his “second chance.” The judge said, “There’s a true path to redemption here. What went wrong and what can be made right.”

In a letter to the judge prior to his sentencing, Diddy expressed remorse for his actions.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Prison Release Date Revealed After 4-Year Sentence

He continued, “I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs. This has been the hardest two years of my life, and I have no one to blame for my current reality and situation but myself,” he wrote in a letter obtained by Us on October 2. “In my life, I have made many mistakes, but I am no longer running from them. I am so sorry for the hurt that I caused, but I understand that the mere words ‘I’m sorry’ will never be good enough, as these words alone cannot erase the pain from the past.”

Live-action remake of Disney classic ‘Lilo & Stitch’ opens this week

Disney’s live-action remake of its 2002 classic “Lilo & Stitch” premiered in Los Angeles in the United States last weekend.

It tells the story of a lonely young Hawaiian girl, Lilo, who befriends a fugitive alien impersonating a dog, that she names Stitch.

Newcomer, 8-year-old Maia Kealoha, takes on the role of Lilo who is cared for by her big sister, Nani, played by Sydney Agudong, following the death of their parents.

Nani is struggling to juggle her responsibilities and look after her sister, and Stitch’s arrival in the family wreaks havoc around them.

Initially, Stitch uses Lilo as a shield to evade recapture, but as he experiences life with the sisters, he begins to understand the Hawaiian concept of “ohana”, meaning family, and that family means no one gets left behind or forgotten.

Through their adventures, Stitch transforms from a destructive force into a loving member of Lilo’s family, helping to heal the sisters’ fractured home while learning about love, belonging, and redemption.

The film’s producers said making a live-action version of the film has allowed them to take a closer look at the relationships between the characters.

Courtney B. Vance, who plays the federal agent sent to capture Stitch, highlights the importance of the theme.

“In the African-American tradition, our children have a lot of aunties and uncles, and sometimes they’re like, ‘Daddy, is that my real auntie? Is that my play auntie, or is that a play aunties, or is it my real aunty?'”

Tia Carrere, who voiced Nani in the original film, returns as the sister’s social worker. Agudong said it was “wonderful” acting alongside the actor.

“I really wanted to get her guidance, and I really wanted to her blessing, because she did such a beautiful job and, I mean, it was iconic,” said Agudong.

Chris Sanders returns as the voice of Stitch. The film also stars Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen.

“Lilo & Stitch” opens in cinemas in the United States and elsewhere, including in Africa, this week.

Oliver Laxe returns to Cannes with mystical drama “Sirât”

Spanish director Oliver Laxe premiered his highly anticipated film Sirât at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday evening, marking a powerful return to the Croisette. The film, a poetic and spiritual odyssey set in the Moroccan desert, is one of 21 entries competing for the prestigious Palme d’Or at this year’s 78th edition of the festival, running from 13 to 24 May.

Sirât tells the story of a father and his son who embark on a desperate journey to find a missing daughter in the harsh, unforgiving landscapes of Morocco. Blending raw emotion with Laxe’s signature mystical style, the film explores themes of faith, loss, and redemption through sparse dialogue and striking visuals.

Laxe was joined on the red carpet by cast members Sergi López, Bruno Núñez, Jade Oukid, Tonin Janvier, Richard Bellamy, and Stefania Gadda, who received warm applause from festivalgoers.

Known for his meditative storytelling, Laxe is no stranger to Cannes. His debut, You All Are Captains (2010), won the FIPRESCI Prize, and his 2019 feature Fire Will Come was screened in the Un Certain Regard section.

With Sirât, Laxe further cements his place as one of the most distinctive voices in European cinema, delivering a work that is both intimate and epic, grounded in human emotion yet reaching for the divine.

Day 2 Zambia for Christ Crusade with Wiseman Daniel: A Continuation of Miracles and Divine Encounters

SOURCES: WISEMAN DENAIEL FAN BLOG

1 / 33

The excitement remains palpable as the dawn of Day 2 arrives at the Zambia for Christ Crusade with Wiseman Daniel. The National Heroes Stadium once again becomes the epicenter of divine manifestations and spiritual transformation. The crowd gathers early, ready to experience the continued outpouring of God’s blessings and miracles.

The international visitors, filled with joy and anticipation, embody the collective hope that this day brings. The atmosphere is charged with an aura of expectation, a sense that something incredible is about to unfold. As the worshippers take their places, they do so with the understanding that today is a day of divine appointments and divine interventions.

The host, Apostle John, sets the tone for the day with a message of reconciliation and restoration. He reminds the congregation that the heart is where God plants His seed, where the transformative power of Jesus Christ is deposited. The analogy of the prodigal son resonates deeply – the journey back to God’s embrace, the realization of being found in Christ, and the understanding that forgiveness and love are central to God’s plan.

Wiseman Daniel, driven by divine guidance, delivers a powerful message centered around the concept of the “Place of Calvary.” This is a place of divine reconciliation, where God’s love and grace bridge the gap between humanity and the Creator. The benefits of this sacred place include healing, deliverance, salvation, and blessings. Wiseman Daniel emphasizes that these benefits are not granted by him, but by God Himself.

ZAMBIA FOR CHRIST CRUSADE WITH WISEMAN DANIEL - DAY 2

Even before the official commencement of the day’s activities, the power of God is evident. Instant healings begin to unfold as attendees experience liberation from various afflictions. The atmosphere is electric with the energy of faith, prayer, and divine intervention. As Wiseman Daniel moves through the crowd, touching and praying for individuals, the manifestation of God’s power is undeniable.

As the mass prayer ensues, the stadium resonates with declarations of freedom, deliverance, and healing. Chains are broken, sicknesses are vanquished, and lives are transformed. The stage is set for a continuation of the miraculous, a continuation of the outpouring of God’s grace.

Throughout the day, the stories of healing, deliverance, and transformation continue to pour in. Nataize Masenge, a young girl plagued by scoliosis, experiences a miraculous healing. Christine Banda, who suffered from severe pain after a COVID-19 vaccine, receives instant relief. Rosemary Lungo, who struggled to walk, walks freely after a touch from Wiseman Daniel.

Wiseman Daniel’s ministry is marked not only by his anointed words but also by his actions. He dances in celebration of the remarkable acts taking place – healings, deliverances, and divine encounters that change lives forever. The presence of Jesus Christ is tangible, and the congregation basks in His glory.

ZAMBIA FOR CHRIST CRUSADE WITH WISEMAN DANIEL - DAY 2

As the Zambia for Christ Crusade draws to a close, Wiseman Daniel extends his gratitude to all who have been part of this extraordinary journey. The transformation witnessed within the stadium’s walls, the liberation from afflictions, and the miracles that have unfolded are a testament to the power of God and the unwavering faith of the believers.

The Zambia for Christ Crusade with Wiseman Daniel is not just an event; it’s a spiritual revolution. It’s a profound display of the boundless love of God, the transformative power of faith, and the manifestation of miracles in the lives of those who believe. The impact of this crusade will continue to resonate in the lives of those who have been touched by God’s grace. As the echoes of praise and worship fade, the testimonies of healing and transformation will remain etched in the hearts of the attendees. The Zambia for Christ Crusade is a testament to the unshakable foundation of faith, the eternal presence of God, and the promise that His power knows no bounds.
