Simba FC part ways with Head Coach Zoran Maki

DAR ES SALAAM-(MaraviPost)-Tanzanian Giants Simba FC have parted ways with their Head Coach Zoran Maki.

According the statement signed by the team’s Chief Executive Officer Barbara Gonzalez, the giants have also parted ways with their fitness coach Sbai Karim and goalkeeper coach Mohamed Rachid.

The reason for the firing of the three is not yet known.

Meanwhile, to maintain their activeness, the Nyasa Big Bullets opponents have appointed Salemani Matolla as the interim Head Coach as the recruitment of new Head Coach is underway and shall be announced once the new candidate is identified.

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi’s prolific attacking midfielder who plays his trade in the neighboring Tanzania with Simba FC Peter Banda is enjoying his top form as he has been voted player of the month of March.

Banda has won Emirate Aluminium Simba SC fans of the month of March with 61.2 percent of the votes defeating Senegalese Pape Sankho who got 30.36 percent with Tanzanian Shomari Kapombe getting 8.36 votes.

The Malawian player was also nominated for the same accolade in the month of February, but lost to Shamori Kapombe.

Malawi’s Flames star Peter Banda shines on Simba’s CAF game with first goal

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Former Nyasa Big Bullets FC winger Peter Banda who is currently playing his international football in the neighbouring Tanzania with Simba SC on Sunday, February 13, 2022 scored his first CAF career goal against ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast in CAF Confederation Cup.

Banda scored at 81st minute to help his team to win the match by three goals to one with the other goals coming from Sakho and Kapombe at 12th and 79th minute respectively.

It was really an entertaining game between the two sides,Simba SC and ASEC Mimosas.

The Malawi International Peter Banda basically continued from where he left off at the just ended continental Showpiece in Yaoundé Cameroon.

He was later substituted at 86th minute after being shown yellow card soon for taking off his shirt in cerebrating his historical goal.
