LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-A 35 year-old woman has died after throwing herself to the moving motor vehicle in Kasungu on Sunday, January 9, 2022..
Kasungu Police station spokesperson Joseph Kachikho identified the woman as Maria Soko of Mankhangala village in the area of Chief Mnyanja in the district.
“Maria Soko and her mother were coming from Chimwa Village where they had gone to seek medical treatment from a herbalist as she has been sick for the past six months,” says Kachikho.
Police say upon arrival at Galauza village along the M1 road from Kasungu to Mzimba, Soko threw herself to the moving motor vehicle registration DA 7776 TATA which was been driven by Sitia Jambo towards Mzimba.
The woman died on the spot.
