Unknown thugs kill old man, disabled wife gang-raped in Kenya

NAIROBI-(MaraviPost)-Unknown men have killed a 60-year-old man and gang-raped a 40-year-old wife who is physically challenged at Got Kowino village in Rachuonyo East.

Police in Homa Bay County confirmed the incident adding that they’re investigating the matter.

According to area assistant chief Peter Odero, the senior citizen was hacked to death on Tuesday night by the machete and other crude weapon-wielding gang while asleep.

The deceased sustained deep cuts on the forehead and his body was found lying on his bed in a pool of blood, Citizen Digital reported.

However, the assistant chief of the area has linked the incident to an alleged land dispute between the deceased and his brothers which has been ongoing.

The deceased body was taken to Rachuonyo Level IV Hospital mortuary while his wife is still recuperating at the same facility.

Meanwhile, Police in Homa Bay County are investigating an incident.
