LUSAKA-(MaraviPost)-Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) on Monday February 3, 2020 finally unveiled Milutin Micho Sredojecic as the Zambia National team head coach.
According to FAZ President Andrew Kamanga, Micho is expected to sign a 2 year deal with the association as national team coach.
The Serbian coach first engagement is going to be the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
Micho arrived in Zambia last week and over the weekend he watched the match between Napsa Stars and Lusaka Dynamos at Woodlands Stadium.
However about his pay, while government has pledged US$10, 000 (about K7.5m) for his salary, FAZ has said will add an extra of US$15, 000 (about K11.2m).
The former Zamalek and Orlando Pirates coach will then try to navigate past Algeria and Zimbabwe in the Cameroon 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Thereafter his other significant task will be World Cup qualifiers where the 2012 African Champions have been paired with Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea and Mauritania.
