Zimbabwean prisoners given six days conjugal right leave

HARARE-(MaraviPost)-Zimbabwean prisoners have been given a six day leave to enjoy conjugal rights with their spouses effective Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

It is reportedly that the leave is part of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas which will be celebrated this coming Saturday, December 25, 2021 across the world.

“ZIMBABWE Prison and Correctional Services (ZPCS) has released inmates from Marondera and Conemara Open Prisons to go on home leave which starts today the 22nd to 28 December.

“The home leave program allows inmates an opportunity to be with their loved ones during the Christmas holidays,” reads part of the statement.

But inside sources indicates that the leave is manly for prisoners to enjoy their conjugal rights during festive season.
