Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in conjunction with Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has released the exams on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Out of the 194,584 candidates that sat for this examination, 113,7O8 have passed. This represents 58.44a/s pass rate.
Out of the 1OO,9O9 male candidates that sat for this examination, 691367 have passed. This represents 62.80% pass rate.
Out the 931676 female candidates that sat for this examination, 50,341 have passed. This represents a 53,74a/o pass rate.
Out of the 116,685 internal candidates that sat for this examination, 73,245
have passed. This represents 62.770/o pass rate.
Out of the 231206 external candidates that sat for this examination, 10,365 have passed. This represents 44,67″/o pass rate.
Out of the 54,693 ODL candidates that sat for this examination, 3O,O98 have
passed. This represents 55.03% pass rate.
Out of the 932 Special Needs Education (SNEf candidates that sat for this examination, 532 have passed. This represents 57.% pass rate.
Out of the 42O male SNE candidates that sat for this examination, 260 have passed. This represents 69% pass rate.
Out of the 512 female SNE candidates that sat for this examination, 272 have passed. This represents 53.13% pass rate.
Out of the 21821 candidates that sat for this examination at National secondary schools, 2,732 have passed. This represents 96.85% pass rate.
Out of the 6,22 candidates that sat for this examination at District Boarding secondary schools, 5,619 have passed. This represents 98% pass rate.

Out of the 53,571 candidates that sat for this examination at Community Day secondary schools, 281877 have passed. This represents 53.9O% pass rate.
Out of the 4622 candidates that sat for this examination at Private secondary schools, 291,738 have passed. This represents 64.32% pass rate
