Busted! Traffickers sneak Uganda’s Karamajong girls into Kenya for sex trade

1 Min Read

NAIROBI-(MaraviPost)-While reports of Kenyan women getting mistreated in the Middle East continue to rise, the country is not as clean as far caring for foreign nationals is concerned.

For instance, August 2, 2021 night’s Checkpoint on KTN, revealed that there has been an influx of Karamajong girls in Nairobi and especially in Eastleigh.

The girls are said to ran away from early marriages which they claim has put a number of them at risk especially during birth.

However the girls are also compelled to leave school to seek safety.

In their attempt to get help, those who help them to get out of the country expose them to sex predators and now the dangerous Covid-19 as they lack proper housing and sanitation.

The girls are convinced to come to Kenya for a better living only to be left with no better choices.

They have instead resorted to commercial sex working to get money for their needs while some of them become house-helpers.
