Joyce Banda facebook highlighted the achievement of being listed on CNN as one of most inspiring women of 2014 as an honor.
The following is what CNN wrote about our globetrotting former president,”Joyce Banda — First female President of Malawi from 2012 – 2014. Founder of the Joyce Banda Foundation which empowers Malawian women and offers free education to orphans”.
What this short snippet failed to mention is that Joyce Banda could noteven win the Malawi elections in may of 2014. Infact she could only muster a distance third losing to new comer Lazarus chakwera.
Malawians and many in Africa depend so much on western Media and we simply regurgitate what they write, thereby failing to refute the narrative the west wants to impose on us.
Why should CNN be telling Malawians who was most influential in our lives. Joyce Banda who presided over Cashgate?. The Joyce Banda who the nation is questioning about how she was able to buy so many cars and motorbikes?. The lady that become rich in two years without explaining how she acquired her fortunes?.
It is about time we start controlling what we know not what the West want us to believe. CNN can take that list and put it in a dark place.

So far all they have fired are blanks and an attrition of attacks. True cashgate became known during hers watch,but then bacause of greed of those involved.
