LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-With just hours to go before polling day, President Lazarus Chakwera has dissolved the cabinet, effective immediately.
According to a statement signed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Collen Zamba, all ministerial powers “shall vest in and be exercised by His Excellency the President”.
The statement further says that all queries requiring the attention of the cabinet should be directed to the Office of the President and Cabinet.
This comes also amid calls for Chakwera to dissolve cabinet to serve public resources.
