“We are not changing MP Beatrice Mwale” , declare people of Kasungu north

KASUNGU-(MaraviPost)-People of Kasungu north constituency have hailed their Parliamentarian Beatrice Mwale for the massive development that she has delivered to them since 2014. This was revealed when some journalists visited the constituency.

 

 

Speaking to journalists, one chief in Kasungu north who asked for anonymity as he is not suppose to support any politician says Mwale has delivered what no one has done before in the constituency.

 

 

“We proudly call her Mama because of her working spirit. In this constituency we have had people who were once ministers but they did nothing. But this lady since 2014 she has done great things,” says the chief pointing out that people in the constituency will just appreciate Mama Mwale by voting her again as parliamentarian in May.

 

 

The chief adds: “Just that we treat everyone who comes to contest here as our child and as chiefs we are not suppose to show colors. Honorable Mwale has tried her best and changing a parliamentarian will be regrettable.”

 

 

Some of the developments in the constituency done by lawmaker Mwale include; Kamphinga Health post, Nkhamenya Police Office, Makhaza Early Childhood Development Centre, Kaswadongo Bridge, Kakwale CDSS hostel, Mathandani CDSS Laboratory, Kaluluma CDSS school block, just to mention a few.

 

 

A visit to the Kaswadongo Bridge, Mr Phiri who is the farmer within the area says the bridge has helped to ease mobility challenges in the area.

 

“Before the bridge, it was hard to move from one place to another especially during rainy season. Even our children could struggle to go to school but now thanks to Mama Mwale. We will reward her with votes come May 21,” says Phiri.

In a telephone interview with MP Mwale who is also Peoples Party Vice President for the central says she is humbled to hear such remarks from in her constituents. She says as a child of the constituency her dream is to transform the lives of people who have being neglected for long time.

“I am delivering what I promised during my campaign period in 2014. I have managed to deliver what I promised them, and I only promise what I can deliver. Kasungu North is my home as such I give it all when it comes to welfare of the people. If I fail to deliver now, history will judge me in the future,” says Mwale saying all achievements is because of togetherness in her constituency.

It has established that over 50 development projects have been done by Beatrice Mwale since 2014.
