Pope Francis unhappy with USA-Iran cold war

VATICAN-(MaraviPost)-Pope Francis has today expressed his uneasiness amid the present tussle between U.S.A and Iran following the death of top Iranian military commander, Qassem Soleimani.

Speaking during the Sunday Angelus prayer at the Vatican, Pope has raised concern over the devastating effects of war. He has pointed out that this can only lead to death and distraction which is one things this world doesn’t need at present.

He has in return beseeched the two parties involved to seek dialogue as a solution to the uprising tension.

As quoted by Reuters, Pope Francis said “I call on all sides to keep the flame of dialogue and self-restraint alight and ward off the shadow of hostility”.
