MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) northern region governor Mzomera Ngwira Tuesday, May 12, 2020 kicked of campaign parade in Mzuzu city in preparation for DPP-UDF alliance presidential rally slated for Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Mzuzu upper stadium.
Mzomera says DPP is still awake in the north “and no one should have doubts and they will continue to rule”.
He also observed that political violence currently happening is coming in of new parties UTM, “Yet this violence was not there when Malawi was fighting for democracy”
“Whenever UTM tries to fight us we are much ready to hit back in any way without fear. If they want war, war they will get back”.
The parade started from Katoto ground to Chiwavi, though some other people were shouting them “Thieves! thieves! We don’t want you”.
